  1. Haha, was good viewing. Said to Poll that as soon as he heard he was sitting in the studio, he knew he was gonna side with the ref's no matter what. Also, mocked him a little over the fact Poll said Joey Barton had made a good tackle tonight. Well played Burley.
  2. Bench was; Xisco, N'Zogbia, Cacapa, Carroll, Enrique, Edgar, Harper *Edit* too slowwwwwwwww. Damn server

    Aaron Spear

On the bench for the u18's tommorow, according to .cock
  4. Will take that. Much better then having him out for a month, plus Martins is due back soon.
  5. Not at all Fucking let them have it there. Liked JK's interview too, wants it all about the football and nothing else. Taylor seemed genuinely happy to be working with him too.
  6. Worth a post in here too, from the Times tommorow. Kinnear took exception to reports that queried the logic of Newcastle’s first-team players having Monday off. In the first five minutes of his comments to written journalists, he employed 50 expletives, describing reporters as “c***s” and “so f***ing slimy”, but his threat to curtail media operations at a club who have been crippled by a lack of communication would appear questionable. “I will stand up and fight for myself in any corner,” he said. “You’re not going to f*** me off or frighten me in any manner. Whatever you do, or whatever headlines you run, you’re not going to embarrass me. I’m not going to stand for it. I’ve come up here for a simple chance to f***ing prove myself. Get off my back and let me get on with my job. That’s all I ask. F***ing hell.” Brilliantly said.

  8. Quotes here; " He told Sky Sports News: "It [the past week] has been very hectic and most enjoyable, except for some of the media coverage. "Some of it has been way off the mark and some of it has been far-fetched and some of it is basically a pack of lies. "But I have tried not to focus on it too much. They [the media] have not asked anybody of any quality that worked with me for many years what I am really like. "Unfortunately it has been 'stab Joe Kinnear in the back week'. They have only spoken with people I have had a row with. I am disappointed with it." Obviously, the test is on sunday, but I am currently much, much happier having him in charge of our club then Chris Hughton.
  9. Just wanna add, I think this guy would be very good for us. I'm a Saracens season ticket holder, and since he got involved things have certainly looked good. He's got Eddie Jones in as manager (Former Austrailia manager when we beat them in the final), and signed England captain Steve Borthwick, former Wales captain Michael Owen and a big named South African (Van Heerdan). Talk of 2 of the biggest players in South Africa coming in next season too. Seems like he knows he has to invest heavily at the playing level to get results, anyway. Not so much the youth approach that Ashley has gone for.

    Michael Owen

Feel gutted towards Owen. Really, really hope we get a takeover in place, a decent manager in and a contract for him he'll agree to. Took so much undeserved shit in the past.

    Players in public

Lee Dixon in Stevenage last friday. Nothing amazing, but he seemed a pretty decent bloke. A few people asked for autographs and such as he was walking down the street, and he was more then happy to oblige.
  12. Just to paste; THE Board of Newcastle United can today confirm it has appointed the London-based investment bank Seymour Pierce to act on the potential sale of the Club. All matters relating to the sale of the Club, including inquiries from interested parties, should go through Seymour Pierce. The Club will be making no further comment at this time. Anyone wanna give them a ring?

    Michael Owen

That ship has sailed. He's as good as gone. And tmonkey I'm not just talking about the hull game, he's a class apart all the time imo. He's not as good as gone. The new owner will be desperate to keep a marketable asset like him and I'd imagine he'll be offered a bumper new deal by whoever takes over. They only silver lining as far as Owen is concerned is that the window has just shut, and we have 4 months to sort this clusterfuck up.
  14. He has done at least. http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1393713,00.html DANNY Guthrie will personally apologise to Hull City's Craig Fagan for the injury he suffered at St. James' Park on Saturday. The Tigers have confirmed that Fagan has suffered a fracture to his right tibia following the incident which saw the Magpie midfielder sent off in the dying stages of a 2-1 loss. Danny said: "I was very upset to hear the news concerning Craig. The Club have been in touch with Hull City on my behalf because I want to speak to Craig in person to apologise and wish him a speedy recovery. I hope to be able to do that as soon as possible. "It was a challenge that came purely out of frustration towards the end of Saturday's game, but anybody who knows me will accept it was totally out of character on my part."
  15. ronaldo? hope you mean the portugese tosspiece and not me Are you serious? blatantly not
  16. Silly twat. I'd like to see him come out and apologise, if the club allow him.
  17. 9 hours without a reply, and you decide to do it at the same time as me. Bah!
  18. A lot of people seem to be overlooking the fact that Ashley wanting to sell now could leave us in a big pile of shit manager wise. If the sale takes weeks/months, will we even get a manager? Will he bother? Will he care who he gets in? I know it feels like the football side of things is secondry at the moment, but what on earths going to happen manager wise? Or will he think fuck it and get Keegan back in with whatever demands are neccessary? He is listening to us, after all.
  19. Times reckon he's out for 10 weeks. The good times just keep on rolling.
  20. I just feel gutted in general. I still have no idea what Ashleys major crime was, and why on earth he has suddenly been the target for the abuse he recieved in the last week or so. Feel sorry for him, he did seem to want the best for Newcastle, but just wasn't willing to change the structure he had in place for Keegan. Same really for Wise, he's doing the job Ashley gave him 8 months ago, and we have no real fact that he's done anything wrong yet. Easy target, though. Its just a sad, sad situation at the moment. Every day just seems to be a new kick in the balls at the moment, getting slightly harder as the weeks go on.
  21. SSN say no more talks are planned either. Fucking load of shit.
  22. Not sure how reliable the Telegraph are, but; "Keegan is understood to have been offered the chance to return to the manager's job at St James' Park when the pair met to clear the air for the first time since Keegan resigned, at the offices of a law firm in the capital. Their appearance together immediately fuelled speculation that a dramatic reunion was on the cards. As a result bookmakers William Hill installed Keegan as favourite over Gus Poyet to take the helm again and have temporarily suspended betting following a flurry of activity. While sources close to Ashley confirmed that the duo were meeting, they were initially unable to clarify whether it was to discuss compensation or reconciliation, but later it transpired that Keegan – the 'Geordie Messiah' – was on the verge of returning to Tyneside for a third time as manager.
