Everytime he had the ball, the first thing he did was see if he could get Cisse a chance on goal. We looked threatening for once!

I'd hope to see Anita or Bigi develop into the deep lying defensive midfielder that can put in a decent-tackle (doesn't have to use brute force, just use his ability to read the game pick out a simple pass and snuff out danger before it happens). A Sissoko, who is a true box-to-box strong midfielder with an eye for goal and can put in a shift on either end of the pitch, and Cabaye the playmaker from midfield.

I've watched a handfull of OM matches on the Spanish channels over here as soon as the links started for this guy and Sissoko. I won't claim to be an expert, but the one thing that stood out most to me is that he has some rapid acceleration and seemed completely competent in general play, pass/trap/move and had a good dribble on him when he would take a man on. He looks a footballer, thats for sure.

A direct, lightning-quick and strong striker who is actually good with the ball at this feet. Hope there are no hitches, we tie this up quickly, and he should make his full debut in the starting 11 vs Reading. Remy - Cisse - Marv up top with Cabaye, Anita, and Perch in midfield.

I personally think the stripes are woeful. Totally takes away from the actual kit itself. It seemed to make sense for our kits at the time but always felt it only looked smart on kits back in the day. Sometimes Adidas avoids those stripes and I quite Like the kit. Annoying that these companies continue to put multiple logos on their kits. One logo is enough.

Sissoko is exactly the player we need. A midfielder with a terrific engine and is a true box to box guy. Whenever I've randomly watched him play I've always liked the fact that he moves with the ball and has a presence to his play. Anita - Sissoko ----Cabaye----- Bringing in Debuchy and having Santon both finally give us some excellent attacking width. Hopefully this allows us to dominate the centre of the park at the same time with the added width. Could we possibly play Tiote in behind that group to sit then essentially give HBA and Cabaye permission to attack and roam? Cisse literally on the pitch to score and do nothing else? Or say Tiote is out you give Marv and HBA permission to create havoc with Cabaye Sissoko and Anita in charge of dominating the midfield.

Common sense: We would be buying the 17-21 year old talented players from abroad that Mr. Carr scouts and insert them in as readymade backups with quality that add depth. I assume that was what Roman was brought in for and he essentially hasn't developed to plan, which is fine, given the minimal outlay. But as I watch more and more football from other nations and leagues, I find myself thinking 75% of those players look more comfortable with the ball than some of our lot.

Add Sissoko in there too and Cabaye should also get a scout/recruiter's title too
