Better question for the locals mate. I hope that proposed hotel would be something of quality - an upscale higher end hotel that can hopefully be a proper / major hotel brand. Quality of the hotels in Newcastle need some improvements. Assuming continued NUFC upward trajectory + investment like this for a convention center and arena - it should lead to higher quality lodging.
