I love discussion. I don’t necessarily love how the mood swings fuel slagging or posters being nasty to one another.

I’m not suprisied but am genuinely disturbed by the manic reaction to every bit of news, non news, and transfer window by our fan base these days.

I'm just saying I'd be OK with moving on Barnes, Longstaff, Willock, etc. if it meant we'd be able to get some better balance and different type of players. No need to be snarky.
-
I love our players through and through, but I'd be open to a refresh of the squad with us keeping Isak, Gordon, Bruno, Tonali, Botman, Hall, Tino as key pieces. Obviously there are many more others but I'd be open to some moving of assets to refresh the thing...

ALso says he's happy with life on Tyneside.

Nice thing to read a few days before we play Chelsea away, Chelsea home and Arsenal home. Prick can fuck off writing this BREAKING EXCLUSIVE NEWS
-
Um, what. How is this new contract any confusing at all? Fully deserved and smart to do from a business and football point of view.

Just wait until we unleash Poch's version of Puli on these fools

Protect this lad at all costs, what a person.

Someone post the documentary screen grab of RW Gordon.

Is Mudryk gonna score again?

Actually a good point, he was fucking attrociously rusty in the first half season with Howe and then the following season he turned it the hell on.

those fans are mental

Works a treat when Sven or Fab do it, but agree, it doesnt work for Burn as well. Although having said that...Fab, TIno and Hall could have done better there.

Annoys me to no end we play them twice in a matter of days.

Putting an armchair DOF hat on, you'd ideally want to move on Willock and Longstaff and replace with a creative, technical AM and a physical DM. That way you've got more flexibility in systems. You could get really creative with systems then.

He was born in London, got to stay in London, his mom is apparently a Chelsea supporter.

We win that match 9x out of 10 with how we played that first 30 mins. In the Howe era we bag a goal at home (our streak was fucking insane by the way). At 1-1 we go and win that match too IMHO. Results like this happen in football.

Which is the exact points I made yesterday; release clause or not, he chose to not uproot his life and family and signed for a top club in London. That may not fit the agenda on a release clause but it's absolutely a factor in ANY transfer whether anyone wants to discuss that or not.
-
Very much agree with this.

I'd be more than happy as a fan (and I feel like a lot would) if we were in europe every season, making a good run at the cups, and progressing in every area each season - on pitch, commercial, stadium improvements or new ground, training ground, community, academy, women's team. To me that is success, and I assume you'd have most sane human being fans being very happy with that. Re: first team, I feel Howe with the current squad should get us between 5th-8th every season assuming we continue to have the key players fit and we continue to add to the first team.

our main one, the NUFC one and the bird one?

right so you can’t just keep painting a one sided argument bro. We don’t know why he signed for Chelsea over us. He does live in London, and Chelsea did offer a deal that met whatever he wanted to stay in London. He did have to relocate his family. So maybe there’s that? Why can’t anyone simply accept a high jack? Why is it always someone’s fault?
-
Well you don’t know the terms. And you know Chelsea are aggressive. So no, you don’t agree to anything and everything if it doesn’t make sense. Just because free does not mean there’s no downside. It’s overly simplistic to suggest that and you know it.
