The 6 role in any team is massively difficult to get right and rushing it could have had adverse impact to the team. But in any case, my points stand - players make mistakes, he has all the tools to be a great interchanging 6 with Bruno but I am happy he looks very settled and comfortable in the role and long may it continue.

I think Longstaff is the right move in Jan or Summer. I personally do not want to him to go, as I agree with @ponsaelius about retaining that local identity, and in addition to that, I think having hat local core is also good for the squad as well (our local lads like Long and Burn are actually leaders in the dressing room). I see Miley slotting into Longstaff’s role. I think you’d move Willock on if the offer was too good to turn down, but you keep him until you sign a quality attacking mid who offers his dribbling / ball carrying ability. Again, I’d prefer to keep Willock long term too but we do need to trade to use the money we have.
