what kit number did he take?

Fucking fight man, don't lay down. Attack them.
-
That was all us, no excuses. Relating to the penalty on us, the no-call on them, the 2nd yellow for Fellaini. 2nd goal we conceded was all us being shit.
-
Thanks ref, for gifting them the game.

He has been going for these placed finishes far too often, needs to fucking hit it man.

Too many people desperate to grasp anything that looks 'good' I'm not desperate to grasp Jonjo Shelvey like. It's just that money is pretty much irrelevant to us as fans nowadays. Fees are defined by far more than a playing ability, and generally the money involved is a tiny proportion of what comes in from Sky anyway. And comparisons with other transfer fees barely even work, because people don't have/consider the full picture. No wage information, no bonus information, vague contract length details, and let's not forget the most important factor of all, potential resale value. Just seems a better idea to discuss how he's a lazy son of a gun who went full Carver about 3 days ago. Great post Sembo

Was going to post the exact same thing. Who cares the price, you pay the going rate of whatever that going rate is to get players in. Frustrating that we balked in years past with players who had undoubted quality when it was 1 or 2M that we didn't cough up.

Hope its false as f***, I don't want Townsend if that means Sissoko is sold. Stupid move. I'd rather Townsend join and be a rotation player too, if anything.
-
Sounds like a post in which you've written him off to 10-12 goals

these votes man

None of the previous 3 have shown any leadership, neither has Coloccini of course. At least this lad seems to shout orders and try to organise from what I've seen. I've seen the sum total of one game like but its still more leadership shown in one game than Coloccini has shown all season. However, Siem and Gini were lauded for their captaincy and leadership. I recall Hilton being the guy at Montpellier who shouted the most fwiw. They certainly haven't brought that leadership here if they ever showed it elsewhere. Lets hope that once he's settled in this lad shows some balls and opens his mouth to let the rest know when they're not doing enough. Agree with you man.
-
I'm not even p*ssed at him retaining the captaincy. Surely the captains we continually buy have some character to them and show something on the pitch ffs. Wasn't Sissoko a captain too? Don't recall tbh, didn't think so?

We've signed MYM, Siem De Jong, Wijnaldum, and now Saivet who were captains of their club - yet, somehow, Colo has retained the fucking armband. Fuck sake

Agree with you brotha
-
probably likely to find our next 15 targets or linked names in the press from that list of players too
-
Hopefully the change of scenery + Shelvey getting license to do what he does best and drive the team forward and pass the ball about and get goals will get him back to his best.
-
they represent basically anyone good in France

http://www.transfermarkt.com/mondial-sport-management-amp-consulting-sarl/beraterfirma/berater/2106 And other players include Coutinho and Cavani, what's your point?

sell-on value

Bordeaux's kit in that link looks like ours

He was crap man. Could hit a decent long range pass, but then would stand there for five seconds admiring it. Had no common sense as a footballer, his movement off the ball was woeful which meant he never actually got the ball in a position to do anything with it. The fact he's had three clubs since us and done little at any of them speaks volumes. Guthrie wasn't crap like. Limited definitely, but not in any way crap. I don't believe in looking at player's or manager's abilities outside of when they were here anyway because it changes nothing. Guthrie had had very good seasons with us in 09/10 and 11/12 and nothing before or since really changes that. short term memories around because we absolutley needed him to step in Cabaye's role and performed when we needed it. Shame his fitness levels were not very good because he was technically a good free kick taker, passer of the ball, and had some good vision too. Looking back wistfully on Guthrie's time here just shows have starved we've been for quality footballers in the middle over the last decade. don't disagree with that statement to be honest, fuck sake.

I didn't even say great, I said very good. Aye, I did and that's probably too much praise, but none-the-less Guthrie was a good player for us in those 2 seasons you mentioned.
