I was impressed with his showing for ball and running about the channels to get the ball. He'll get up to speed with a week or so of training and show his promise. An issue with many of our supporters is constant slagging off of new players b/c they didn't light it up on their debut. Had this lad been signed at the beginning of the window when all of us were in better spirits and we didn't sell Cabaye some of the quick 1-2s or lay offs would have been applauded and people would have been very excited. Fucking shame that the club signs a player the week they sell Cabaye, get no replacement, go down 2-0 to Sunderland and bring him on and expect him to save us. Leave it to our joke of a hierarchy to never set our players up for success.

FWIW the only people really truly saying we'd have done a Leeds or Portsmouth under Freddie Shepherd was Mike Ashley, Chris Mort, and Derek Llambias and they peddled all of that s*** into the media who gladly lapped it up like starved dogs. So, in retrospect - the current owner who couldn't do due diligence and has lied and deceived us over and over telling us that should probably be taken with a grain of salt. IMO.

I really don't know why today is a day to compare them. HBA had a tough match and his shit manager didn't set him up to play to his strengths. The fuck does Robert or Solano have to do about today?

I don't understand the point of all this when you openly talk 8-10 being the aim. I tend to surround myself with like minded positive and ambitious people, good people - this club led by Ashley and Pardew is the direct opposite of every principle I try to live by and I'm really just plain sick and tired of this.

HBA may be the more talented but no way has he ever been more effective or produced like Robert and Solano. That may be a product of injury and Pardew though.

HBA-LDJ-Remy There is no other way to play a front 3. If there is worry about HBA/Debuchy getting exposed then fucking play Sissoko or Anita in a midfield role to cover for these 2 going forward. If there is concern over Remy/Santon getting forward on left, then fucking play a midfielder in a role to cover for them as well. Its fucking simple stupid tactics that the idiot in charge doesn't see. Just play 9 outfield defensive minded players and have 1 striker or 1 man capable of magic.
