  1. being successful and wealthy is 80% luck okay man.
  2. Got 93 minutes over the next 4 games. 28 the game after this one. Classic Pardew. Didn't need the threat, needed some graft and losses

5 yr extension with top 8 (NOPE) or FA CUP (BAHAHAHA) fuck off.
  4. ManDoon and I are going to create the GhoeberX Hatem site
  5. Manager has said over and over that he knew exactly who he was signing. Why in the living f*** would you want someone who can do that to defenses, wasting energy grafting his bollocks off as an auxiliary right back? I read this interview recently where Ben Arfa had said to Puel that sometimes he switches off in training. And Puel basically said I knew thi when we signed you, we signed you for your positives rather than negatives. He's managed him perfectly really Sounds rather like Peul knows it's about the team and not about him. Unfortunately we had a manager who thought it was all about him, and as soon as Hatem criticised the long ball rubbish Pardew served up, that was it. Any excuse was then used to have a go at Hatem. It's amazing just how many fans fell for Pardew's nonsense, and still do to be honest. That Stoke 5-1 game, after how Hatem played, to be dropped the following game was the exact moment i knew Pardew had it in for him and Hatem was done with us. He wrecked Stoke, like. Fucking so mad that he hit the crossbar late, wanted that goal so much.

  7. You don't say huh, the once brilliant reputation had in France destroyed by who else, Alan Pardew and his band of maggot cunts.
  8. Mystified. Fuck sake what a word to be quote. Like David fucking Blaine just started floating in front of them and they're all just shocked and confused.

There's this long term plan / huge age gap I'd imagine.
  10. He's got a howitzer of a shot too, can absolutely strike the hell out of the ball, good dribbler and pace.
  11. We never paid the going rate for him, then he blew up, and now he's having a bad season.
  12. Removed what I originally wrote b/c it made no sense. The state our club that we'd sign Lacazette for that sum, but balk at signing someone like Abdennour, Matip, Alderweireld at CB, or bringing back Cabaye to play CM...frustrating as fuck. Coming from someone who rates the striker heavily.
  13. Courbis. People must have short memories:

You can bang on the English spine for sure, but until we sign your next John Stones or Delli Alli or heck, sign players of the quality of Shawcross or Lallana to play for us then the English spine thing can get fucked. Believe me, I'd be all for signing a guy like Nathan Redmond to play on our right side or Ryan Bertrand at LB but we've proven every time we aren't interested in doing that.
  15. Someone yesterday made a good point about how in a way because he was so much better than the rest of the team, he actually had less of a license to try things and fail because the rest of the team wasn't good enough to regain possession. If we'd had a team that was good enough (or in our collective opinion, that was managed properly) he'd have been able to do more, more often and even the dumbest in our fanbase would probably see that he's worth playing every game. Think it's wishful thinking though, unless we get a manager who comes and completely transforms the club and the mindset of the fans in the way that Wenger did at Arsenal, we've essentially got no chance. They stumbled on an out of favor player that was available cheap. He turned out to be more than we could have ever imagined, but not enough to motivate the idiots in charge to build something worthwhile with him at the forefront. That's why this club will forever be irrelevant. Nothing is bigger than the plan to keep the billionaire rich. Football doesn't mean s*** here. Who cares if the product is garbage. As long as we stay up we're golden. In 50 years Ashley will definitely be long gone, we have time Michael. We'll get his spoiled, disinterested son that knows even less about running a football club though, obviously. Unless a Newcastle fan buys the club, or some oligarch looking for a way to play with his blood money nothing will ever change. There are more Ashleys out there. No there are far less Ashleys out there. Most people who spend that much money on a sporting team want said team to win something, or believe they can build something that could compete for a title or something.
  16. Nah we're just loudly saying fuck off to Ryder in general, even if he's right or wrong, and to the club's supposed policy if true. Chill.

You should be fielding players and hiring managers who are up to the job and task regardless of region or nationality or "gets the area" - you think that Man City team full of different nationalities have all these players who fully get the area to succeed? No way. They are employed by a football club who wants to win trophies. If these players are not good enough to deliver these trophies, or the manager is unable to get the results that the club demands, then they replace the manager and the players with better ones, not this xenophobic lunacy about having these local area lads, esp ones who are fucking shit.
  18. You're right, just pointing out the most recent chance or catalyst to fix it.
  19. Lets not fix the left sided issue that everyone has seen since Haidara got hurt. Let's not do that.
  20. Meanwhile every other player fucks up every week but our staff love to single out and drop players we like, it's fucking weird and creepy.
  21. Should be signing him on a pre-contract then at this point, agree with whats been said - this player is tremendous going forward, literally has created more chances and more goals than any other fullback in Dutch football over the past 5 years or something. A man who can hit crosses all day long, on top of being a sound defender with good pace and strength. But nah, let's hold off lads - Paul's got this. While we ship goal after goal and attack exclusively down the right.
  22. We got what 2-3 results and have not had a midfield look as solid as it did when Mehdi was playing the holding role? Was literally dictating tempo versus the likes of Yaya and Steven Gerrard and gets hurt and frozen out the team again?
  23. 5 touches, including the trap to beat 6 defenders.
