    Florian Thauvin

B/c GB has seen so much of him he's able to fully analyze Florian

    Cabella #10, Thauvin RW. Wonderful.
  3. Only thing I can say for Lascalles is he's always yelling at everyone around him when he's playing,
  4. Every time Thauvin gets caught in possession McClaren looks like he's going into cardiac arrest. He's just too cautious to back such a player, he'd probably rather start with Gouffran on the left wing. Safe and will track back. Even though Jacky boy loses the ball, dives in the box, gets a yellow every f***ing game but is immune to any criticism by the management for some reason I wouldn't say Jacky loses the ball much though. Just watches the game as a spectator for the most part. Feel like every single match he's caught in possession doing some stupid fucking turn and they're off on a counter

Don't bite man, don't. Waste of time.

  7. Ah man, would love Rudi Garcia here.
  8. IMO, thinking on it - Cabella actually didn't do too bad here, there were times last season in our rock bottom shit-ness he was actually our biggest threat and did well on that LW, would have actually linked quite well with Gini and Mitro IMO. But alas, he's got the clause activated and not coming back. I still would like us to sign a real top class left or right winger though, a proper attacking threat from the wide area(s) who the fans can get behind. So much at Carver, Pardew, Charnely, and ultimately Carr (who was here and should/could, and maybe he did? but failed, but should have fought and been vocal about it) for kicking out HBA.

Correct, 100%. I'd honestly sign Redmond over Townsend man, ffs.

Andros Townsend to replace Thauvin then?

If it happens, a real fucking waste of money for sure - everyone who has mentioned we spent 25M to replace HBA is spot on; HELL we could have spent 25M on a winger the first time and brought the right guy in ffs. If he indeed goes, we absolutely need to sign a couple of fucking wingers in this / next window with real pace and energy.
  12. He's going to walk around like he fucking owns the place too
  13. Berahino has a hell of a strike on him and has good pace and strength, always thought he had really good movement and worked channels well.
  14. Cheers Steve. Just heard from a reliable source that McClaren never wanted him, he did want Shelvey though. Fairly impressive lying to the player then. One who knew exactly about his game and was able to talk to him in detail about what he liked about him too
  15. Cheers Steve. Just heard from a reliable source that McClaren never wanted him, he did want Shelvey though. How's the badge coming along?
  16. I don't doubt Tiote in his first 2 seasons, he was a class player...he deteriorated massively since then and shows glimpses (and not often) of looking like his old self, before, classically, getting hurt and repeating the fucking process again. The sooner we field 2 or 3 proper midfielders who can contribute to both ends of the pitch or play more positive football, the better, and it appears we are finally on that track.
  17. Nee idea why your brethren need to sing shit like that when you've won nearly everything there is to win over Sir Alex's reign.
  18. Chest pass is the fucking best man, no idea why I like seeing big CFs do it but always looks cool
  19. I'm mad Siem is #10 and he's not panned out, what a waste of a beautiful shirt number.
  20. Looked very close on the replays too, just swerved a bit towards the end. Reminded me of Jonas' goal few years back. His passing was always good, and maybe our passing is just so shit now, but he seems to be playing more advanced attack-minded/starting passes as of late. I always thought he should be doing more of that. But you're right, the Sissoko ball and the Mitrovic ones were beautiful.
