Even he played well today. Actually tried to effect the game for a change. He seemed to be pressing very effectively today instead of just ambling around. Thought this was actually Colback's best performance so far. He outshone Henderson, for me.

Honestly his positional sense + strength + passing, etc. he looks GOOD man and he's just quiet and does his work.

He's loving being the main guy here man, the club should have been bigging him up as that versus just going to De Jong & Cabella. Moussa is a driving player who's sheer presence is something else.

I feel for any player who pulls up like that, he's got a damn heart of a little child at times but he looked good recently; but honestly our way forward is Aarons, Perez, Cabella IMO and Obertan is stopping us from that.

True, he won't get credit - its painfully obvious! The outstanding players have clearly been Abeid, Perez, and Aarons! I think it's the additional pace of the younger players which means we don't get exposed as easily as before. That was how literally every team was beating us before. Right, very true. I used to always think at same time..."why can't city have a bad day against us?" but hell, like I said in other threads, with all other shit going in my life - its nice to enjoy football again, even if its for 90 minutes and a few hours later. Still want the cunt sacked, still want a new owner, and I want to speak pridefully about my club again at all times.

I'm seriously overjoyed by this; he worked his ass off to get into this squad. Always seemed to have the blocks stacked up against him and when called upon against City and Liverpool, he put in 2 (IMO) MOTM performances, against midfields with far better talent and movement about them. Proud man, very proud.
