  1. They call more foul throws for bairns than in the professional game when the pros are the ones mucking about on throws all the time.
  2. Good lord. The todo sobro whatever that Brazilian kit site is - spot on again with their leaked rumors. Seriously, Nike's French kits are the best designed kits in the world. f*** it, I'm going to just start buying them.
  3. Nike tends to be spot on - still wish they'll one day be our kit makers.
  4. I have this overdramatic feeling about a lot of our players now. Just change beast to other awesome descriptive words for Ben Arfa, Gouffran, Cabaye, Mapou, etc. Feel like a proper Steven Taylor right now; having all of these players on our squad is one of the best feelings.
  5. He's literally the perfect outlet to pass to out of the back - quick to control, able to turn, able to play a ball into space and of course can carry the ball with intelligence in pace. Basically he's a swagtastic bastard of a beast.

Aye, sure whatever. Just prior to getting the signings/Cabaye/Saylor/Tiote I guess. Just saying in general really man.

If we continue to play with the drive and determination we have had since the new lads signed we should be going out with the mindset that every team is beatable and 3 points should be our goal, and fuck it - that includes City, Liverpool and Arsenal to the end the season. It's about time we looked dangerous and played with a bit of a chip on our shoulder, and right now is best time as any to have it. Prior the signings we would have caved going down 1-0 like we did on Sunday. Look at the end result.

5 of 11 matches remaining at SJP. 2 of those are Liverpool and Arsenal (final match of season). We have shown we can fight in every single match we've played in as soon as the signings came through. I'd say we were un-done by the brilliant and on-form player of the moment Gareth Bale. But we've been able get results at home after scoring the first, conceding the first, and of course winning away from home. Keep looking at the fixtures to play and with Hatem coming back...I'm optimistic (cautiously) that we can continue to climb the table. Hopefully we can get at least a point at Swansea and in Russia to come back to a home match vs Stoke and Anzhi. These are going to be some exciting 4 matches man. Imagine if we can manage 4 points from the league (or 6) and on to the next round of the Europa? Hoping Pards continues to do whatever the hell he is currently doing b/c we are playing some good football and getting results, despite starting slowly in both halves and such. Long may it continue, it feels good to be happy around here again.

    Papiss Cissé

People slating eachother for their view on which is better All 3 were impressive as fuck, all 3 were hard to perform, and 3 all have done themselves proud.

Anyone who's actually kicked a football before would agree. I agree man. I'm probably biased too but fuck it. Look all 3 were brilliant goals with varied/different levels of difficulty - All hit perfectly.
  11. Familiar name in the unreadable comments section. "I know Newcastle have made it as a club when we're in a Deadspin post." f***ing Ameritoon. saw that. I also love randomly seeing Ameritoon comment on shit on there, esp the Danny Simpson knockout post.
  12. Cisse's goal got a shout on Deadspin - class. http://deadspin.com/5986500/heres-a-wonder-goal-from-newcastles-papiss-cisse

Cisse man. That's class as fuck man.
  14. His distribution is better than Krul, he's probably not as good in any other way mind, but very well done, neither goal was his fault. Confident at collecting from corner which is what I thought was going to be the issue today. Yep - great distribution today.
  15. I watched a decent amount of him while he played in France and thought he was a good player, but didn't expect him to be this good. Honestly its like he has raised his game as the stage has gotten bigger and the expectations for him to drive us up the table and this team forward were placed on his shoulders. He's answered this pressure with practically being our MOM each time he's played. Its outstanding.

Papisto, absolutely takes the piss when he blasts these wonder goals man.
  17. He's fucking awesome and easily becoming a personal favorite of mine in this team. I didn't honestly think he'd be this good off the start but he's literally come in, not only adapted but made that left wing spot his own. He's a special player and I'm constantly willing him on to get goals b/c the amount of work he does on both ends of the pitch is mind boggling. He's a real smart football player who seems to be comfortable wherever he is on the pitch. His decision making in the final 3rd is real class too.
  18. We battled back very well after going 1-0 down to score 2 goals. Again we conceded, but we still fought back and scored the 3rd and a bit of luck eased us to the finish line with that own goal. Elliot's distribution was really good, very impressed by that - and I do remember always sort of liking that from him. Thought everyone played pretty well and did their jobs with special mentions to Elliot, MYM, Debuchy, Tiote, YG, and Moussa...and of course, that fucking belter from Papisto.

Thunder Bastard i've been waiting for happened. Thank fuck.
  20. I feel weird doing the half hug with my people, these dudes are kissing. "my people" Debuchy and Cabaye have the most epic bromance I've ever witnessed in sports.
