That table; the sheer fact that Swansea, WBA, Villa and West Ham have ALL shown themselves ambitious, cunning, and professional in their board, managerial apointments and transfer dealings and are ahead of us, such a dagger man. This whole financial prudence crap the ownership, board, and press have been spewing is all a bit weak in argument when not a single club in the top flight operates in the manner in which we do. If they're tight on the transfer kitty or wage structure, they at least make decisions that have a pattern of sense or plan. Some clubs can't spend b/c they don't have money, or some clubs will only splash the cash when they have it. But we have a multi billionaire owner and are a top 20 club in terms of finances (riches) or whatever you want to call it, yet his idea of being self sufficient is absolutely ridiculous. Opportunities to grow the club and business were never taken on at arguably our best possible time last summer. He's taking, been taking and will continue to take the piss out of us until he finally sells up.

Bradley's a class player - he's our best and most important player and has been for the last few years. Suggesting otherwise is an outlandish claim.

Pards can send out whatever team on paper - but if he had the lads believing in themselves and their own ability we're a million times better for it. The guys like Cabaye, Cisse, Ben Arfa, Sissoko etc. should be told in training to just have at Man City and show the world their talent(s). Some positivity would go a long way for these lot.

Thats a team with a very defined ceiling on how well they will do as well as a floor in which they'll not fall. A classic premiership team written all over it...and yes I'd be scared shitless to play that team.

Look he's had all summer to think about the first few matches, needs to set the team up right to cope with Man City's talent and execute some counter attacking football. If we can nick a goal from some magic ( meaning Cabaye, HBA, or Cisse then) and have some of that work-man resolve that we showed the 5th place season we can get a result there. The defeatist mentality has to stop this season - we were our best when AP showed confidence and swagger about us, and it flowed through the team. We had some brilliant high pressure team orientated performances that yes, had some magic in there to win us matches (Ba being that guy for us). Bring it on man, its about time the season kicked off.
