I can't think of any successful cases for experienced La Liga striker in EPL. The "best" is probably Llorente. I simply don't think Gameiro can adapt at this age, midway through season. Gambling 20m on him now is really a bad one to make.
-
I don't want Gameiro.....
-
Some people may prefer them over Mitro. I don't. But then let's trust Rafa eh?
-
After 2 games ? Yes, after two games.
-
For those who may concern, our former target, Tosun, whom cost Everton 24m, is already classified as rubbish from my Everton friends.
-
All additional transfers would just make the gap between Amanda and the fat cunt wider.
-
That's a good deal for both parties. To be brutally honest, nowadays Arsenal would face difficulties in signing players with Mkshitaryan-like calibre. He was Dortmunds best player 2 years ago (Reus on bed as usual)
-
If we really spend money then the PCP deal would likely be over.

Our lads deserve praise for their effort and having a go at Man City.

Nice tricky run by Murphy.

We aren't playing bad, considering the difference in quality.

Manchester City v Newcastle United - 20/01/2018 @ 17:30 (BT Sport)

Errr no I don't think any businessman would say no to money, especially when a relegation can cost him over 100m pounds. I did think he genuinely wants to sell, it's the value of the club that cause all the troubles. If you trust the media report, the first price he asked for us 400m. Then he "generously" cut it to 380m. And now he is asking for 300m. However PCP didn't meet his asking price and he is very frustrated and hence spat his dummy like that. I think you need to think in the fat c***s perspective. It is correct that Newcastle is an excellent advertising board for SD but this doesn't worth to take the risk of relegation. To him, his dream period was Pardews reign. The period where the club could operate in profits (despite we have spent in market), advertising his SD brand and free from any relegation risk. It's his dream model. He isn't doing it now, and the reason is kinda hilarious or ironic. He genuinely wants to sell and he genuinely think PCP would offer the money he wants, therefore he is very confident that he doesn't need to deal with the relegation risk and thus cut back all the spending that originally promised to Rafa. "The club will be sold soon, why need to spend any extra money on it?" And, now, this completely backfired. PCP didn't offer the money he wants. The club missed 1.5 transfer window and is clear relegation battlers due to lack of investments. Fans like us becomes more furious. This is his nightmare scenario and hence he publicly fire at Amanda. The takeover talk did screw up his plan. He can no longer back to the Pardew model where there is a competent manager (cough) and with bare minimum money spent (not none, this is key) the club can continue to be a profitable advertising board. The bridge between Rafa and the fat c*** has been burnt (due to his over-confidence on the takeover) and he know clearly if there is no takeover he needs to 1. Find Rafa replacement and 2. Provide a lot of fundings to keep us up. This is his worst scenario. If there is no PCP takeover talks he could continue to try to fish Rafa and let him become Pardew mk2. Basically we are heading back to the summer where we appointed McClaren and wasted the fat c*** a lot of money. He knows, and the last time he got burnt. One of his worst summer ever. As long as PCP is still here till the summer, we still have hope. I am fairly confident for this. In fact if the fat c*** didn't act like this I would be more worried.
-
In such cases Amanda should also increase her bid as well. The club did worth more if TV income increased.
-
The deal would be done in the summer. It's quite obvious. Rafa will immediately quit if takeover doesn't happen, and the fat cunt know unless he splashs extra cash we will be 100% down. I am fairly optimistic for this.
-
I think no one wants to or needs to argue who is the more evil one between the fat cunt or Amanda. I think people criticise Amanda mainly because it is useless to criticise the other one. We all know that. But then I do think the fat cunt wants to sell. It has gone too far.
-
2nd one does but it might be too long of a time frame for him. But then he has the added bonus of another £50m if we finish in the top 4. The second bid also has a relegation clause, amount unknown. The 50m bonus better just be ignored. Timeframe is a problem when the financial backing of your counterpart is kinda unknown. I am not supporting the fat cunt but I am not impressed by Amanda either. The complexity in ownership and source of funding could be very troublesome in the future.
-
None of the bid met the fat cunts 300m asking price.
-
What I see the bids are as follows 1: 200m + 100m relegation clause and HMRC Clause 2: 150m + 50m relegation clause + 100m instalments + 50m champions league clause 3: one off 250m. I think the first bid is the best unless the HMRC case could cost us a few ten millions. Staveley will be responsible for the Jan funding and if she is serious about it Rafa would get the fund and we should be safe I.e. The fat cunt will likely getting 300m. The second bid is very tricky. The 50m champions league bonus is a bit strange. I don't think the fat cunt will take it serious. So basically it's 300m with 50m relegation clauses and 100m deferred payment. It does sounds like a bit better than the first but cash flow wise it may not. The third bid is simple, 250m upfront, no clauses. In this scenario, the fat cunt will never get his 300m asking price. I ain't sure what people thinks but to me, the first bid is the only bid that likely meet the fat cunts asking price. The second bid isn't better because a lot of payment are deferred. The fat cunt did say he accepts substantial deferred payment, but he didn't say the price will be adjusted accordingly, which is common in paying instalments. The third bid sounds like a "fuck off you moron we will never pay 300m take it or leave it that's it" statement to me. I am not surprised the fat cunt rejects this. Absolutely not.
-
Eh? The bids won't supersede one another, they're just different options. Hmm normally people will only submit second bid after the first bid is rejected right?
-
The last is the only one that doesn't mention the HMRC fine, tells me there might be good chance we could get a rather large fine coming our way. That could be the case, which I am a bit surprising to be honest.
-
Am I the only one who think the bids are deteriorating? I think the the first bid is the best, and last bid is the worst.
-
I wonder what will happen if PCP did take over the club. Say Rafa requests 50m to rebuild the team, and so this amount has to get all investors consensus before Rafa can conclude any deals?
-
I.e. 250m is our last offer.
