I honestly think most of our youth products are just shit to be honest, just like Shane, who even couldn't start of Birmingham. You can see the youth products from Man Utd or Liverpool etc getting games regularly for championship teams or even EPL relegation contenders, whilst ours can just attract League One at best and sitting on the bench for them. Dummett, whilst labelled as Dumbshit here, probably enjoyed the best loan among our youth products, getting lots of games in SPL, and is probably the best product in his batch --- and yet he is shit. We did ruin some players who has had massive potential, like Vukcic and Bigi, by not developing them properly. But other than these two, I don't think we really "ruin" much. They are just purely shit. Jury still out for Sammy though.

If we need such kinda player, why not Isla?

i think what we called "cabaye's replacement" is the midfielder who can score regularly by picking up the chances created by our lone striker i.e. the one who just behind our striker. The key man in our final third, the finisher of our plays, our focal point. No way Colback is playing this role. It must be De Jong.

I can't get why compare Jack to Yohan. It should be Siems role isnt it? Colback seems more like a replacement for Tiote and/or Anita to me.

Ba contributed a huge lot to Cisse's fantastic start. The problem started when Ba think "its my turn" and everything fucked up since then. That said, Ba is infinitely better than Cisse. I could understand why Pardew tried all means to urge Ba to stay. It was a lost gamble, everything fucked up, unfortunately. Looking back, I would rather have Ba over Cisse.
