i can't believe anyone here would not want mourinho to come. If that happens. But then Brett, in the end it is the result that matters. Imagine what would happen here if we beat arsenal yesterday. Wankers all over the place, praising the players as if they are the best in EPL and give about 5% credit to pardew. So why bother with those comments? they will be gone if pardew is getting results anyway.
-
So now we are back to this " he is fucking shit and anyone would bring us 8th on the table". great.
-
I am serious Hanz. Thats a very bad decision. That shot. I am not blaming him for the loss but you have to accept that is ridiculous decisions and let the whole team down.
-
Genuinely not sure if people are taking the p*ss or just thick as f***. Like you can blame him for taking that first shot ffs, he scored a carbon copy against Arsenal last year Check the replay. Sze was well prepared for that "carbon copy". Fucking well prepared. He knows HBA would do that. Absolutely no chance for that to get in
-
I question the judgement of taking those 2 shots.
-
Haidara need to work on his ball control
-
That is intentional
-
should we play Ben Arfa on 2nd half? Very difficult question for me.
-
I don't think it will work as Walcott will certainly outpaced Willo and Colo during counter. We have to control the tempo instead of went all out and try to hit them like what we did against Man Utd and Spurs.
-
We need to control the midfield by having more bodies and the players must overrun the opponents. Sorry to Hatem but same lineup as Man Utd for me. Anita cabaye and tiote in the middle would boss them with sissoko and gouffran covering the wings. We are fucking solid with this setup tbh.
-
Agree with toondave. I am more comfortable with sissoko on the right, even though hatem is simply unplayable in 2nd half
-
stupid decision, haidara
-
Sub Ameobi for Sissoko and just bomb them ffs
-
Gouffran on the right now.
-
Coincidence then? HBA starting on the right and this...
-
I dont think it is a bad idea to let Remy rest at that moment

If you want to build something that is sustainable within a budget, then you need patience. Just like what brendan rodgers did in liverpool and moyes in everton. The problem, as many people pointed out, is that we couldnt feel Pardew is building up something longlasting, or is not doing it quick enough. My argument would be, assuming we binned Pardew, we still need to give patience and time for the next manager to build it, even if it is laudrup bielsa or moyes, because we wont spend a furtune and would only do it within budget again. So it would be another 2-3 seasons in mid table. Seriously, ask yourself, are you fine with that? And it is assuming that everything is working out as planned, no major fallout, no serious injuries crisis, no relegation etc. We have had to invest 2 years minimum again. during those 2 years our result would not be much better than now - and probably even worse tbh. It is impossible to just hire a better manager and immediately give you better results without any investment.
-
Right, who then? Even assuming that Ashely would welcome any managers, I can't think of many. AVB?
-
If he isnt that injury prone he probably really worth 30m given his unplayable aerial ability and being an young english striker. I was correct though, predicting that he would be very injury prone, because it is very very rare for any tall striker having a career free from injuries.
-
Not really disagreeing with that, but just wanna ask, he made 2 poor decisions within 15 mins, so that could be 12 poor decisions within a match, would you still consider that is acceptable or a good performance? I think he played well too, but just to point out his decision making is really something that hold himself and the team back a lot.
-
For fucks sake if we sat back we wont concede that. Fuck off morons. You are saying you are willing to concede if we are trying to go for 2nd and now you blame him for this?
-
I am torn that while i am happy Pardew finally got the credit he deserves, I know next season he will repeat the disaster and will be publicly raped here again
-
We are ok, but we make Man Utd play like Stoke City. Pardew correctly anticipated that Moyes would opt for counter attack and decide to control the possession and wait for chances. His plan worked again.
-
Brett, i understand your feeling but, calm down.
