For the other position, N'Zogbia and Milner are future stars, while Duff and Dyer are decent squad members considering their fitness. Butt is still useful and Emre sometimes shows he can boss the midfield, he is just unlucky to have too much injuries. Parker is the weakest link, in conclusion.

I am the opposite. Hunty is better physically while Edgar is better mentally, and that means Hunty has more promising future than Edgar. Considering there ages and our resources, Taylor, Ramage and Hunty deserves to get their chance here. Ramage is an acceptable backup for our RB together with Solano, and we just need a decent LB to complete our backline. Yes it is not very solid but it worths a try-----extremely cost effective and promising.
