  1. Such player management skills is really comparable with Souness. Roeder, congratulation, you have become Souness the 2nd.

I wanna cry after watching that video.
  5. Look back to the summer transfer......this 15m is completely wasted, the precious 15m that our club probably won't be able to spend anymore within 2 years. I really, really think the 15m is wasted. Instead of some decent defenders or a Shearer type striker, we spend on a left winger and a pacey-but-stupid forward. The Duff's transfer is quite critical actually. When he plays at left wing, N'Zog is waming the bench, completely waste of resources. And now he even have to play left back, forward, etc. Is he really needed at Newcastle? Even his performance in left wing sucks, really sucks. He ran a lot, but he never able to beat a defender one by one, and his crossing is even worse than N'Zog. His end product is terrible, and that's why Chelsea keep SWP instead of Duff. He does not worth 5m, while this amount of money should be able to buy a good side back. Martins, ok, shit, a forward type Bramble. In theory, he is even faster than Bellamy, or may be the fastest on the soccerpitch. But how many runs did he has per match? What I can recall isn't Martins run to openspaces, but Martins trying to set up Ameobi by HEADING. Fucking hell. His finishing may improve once he settled, but heis clearly not a player that 100% make use of their talents, like Bramble. Again and again, he doesn't worth 10m. From what I see, what we really need is a striker, a player that can convert Milner's or Emre's corssing into goals. We create plenty of chances, but we are unable to make a good attempt out of them. We don't need pacy forward, at least, the priority is not the top. Oh yea, and our 10m forward is injury prone, joining Owen on the sidelines. Terrible transfer decision leads to terrible outcomes, end of.
  6. The question is can we afford to sack Roeder? Just like at that time we didn't want to pay compensation to Souness until the last moment.

    Is Luque that bad ???

I don't think Roeder will play him against Palermo. Ameobi as lone striker again.
  8. welcome to rape Newcastle. You better score something like 6-0 or 7-0, so that Roeder can resign immediately.

    Is Luque that bad ???

On the other hand I think Roeder simply afraid of dropping Duff. He's been playing left back, left wing and even striker. Well, we got one 5m utility player, hurray. Everything is going wrong.
  10. the reason why Duff is given up by Chelsea is because he is not up to standards. he runs a lot with no end product, even worse than Dyer. 5m spoiled again.

A legend that past his best doesn't needed by Newcastle.
  12. Hey, so this time Dyer last for 30 mins. What's next? 10 mins and retire?
  13. Ignore the Luque problem, there's never an answer for that, coz Roeder simply won't play him anymore. Am I the only one who think the 10m spend on Martins is a waste of money? It's the same as Luque's, just one have more chance to play, one have none.
  14. I admit I didn't think he can be sooooo bad..... I know he won't be top class performer but mid table is not a problem.....and now, relegation zone, fucking hell.
  15. I don't mind if he resign, I just wanna know who will take the job.
  16. Is it really possible? We played like donating 3 points to the league leaders, we play some pocession football with no end product with mid table teams, and that means, if we are unable to get 3 points from relegation battlers e.g Shef Utd, we will be one of them. The truth is that, the situation is even worse than under Souness.
  17. I agree, but please exclude Cashley, he isn't that important for Arsenal. I would say in EPL or in any other great teams, the team should be consist of 3-4 best local player and 6-7 great internationals. Compare with them we do have too much British players. In fact, there is plenty of supply of good local centre back and box to box midfielder, but on the other hand, the supply of talented side back or winger or striker are really too little. We have a good core english player pair (Taylor and Parker), but the other position really needs great improvement. Other than Duff and N'Zog, none are really up to our expected standards. That's why I am really worrying about the foreign success rate: too little. It's impossible to strengthen those positions especially when english players fees are highly-inflated. We need foreigneers, and we must know how to adapt them. The first step is to hire a foreign manager, though.
  18. I just wonder what happened. It's a 10m disaster. I do think the club doesn't have a good system of adapting foreign players .... The success rate is really worrying. The point is, there's no world-class team that only consist of local players, and in fact, the team is an international all-star.
  19. Rubbish. So you agree to frozen Luque and finally free release him? I can't believe that. Either help to settle his role, or sell him earlier, but not now. Explain what's the problem here.
  20. I think the accessment on Luque is damn poor, especially on his mental strength. He's the type of player that needs other's motivation and his performance is greatly depended on his confidence. However, I don't think anyone in the team really welcomes him, and Roeder's treatment is really a joke. Either try to strengthen his confidence, or sell him earlier, but not play him without proper gameplan, position or instruction. I am his supporter, but it's better to sell him now. There's no chance to overturn his situation.
