Fuck I have a busy day next Friday as well. It will be my last day in work before the kids are back in school, I can't sit on here all day pressing F5 with this site and BBC transfer section open, reading shit tweets of so and so seen at the training ground by someones aunties boyfriends uncle.
-
I'm not too sure on that, maybe this Carroll business has bought them a bit of time going about business un-awares? Could be trying to take the power away from the selling club, if they are trying to fleece us we could turn around and tell them, fine we'll go get AC9 instead? Or am I giving them far too much credit. I'd be surprised if we don't bring in anyone at all come Friday. I think we are more likely to buy a striker than RB. I think it maybe a case of Debuchy or nobody for RB.

Since he started there Abramovich has spent 1billion. That's scary s***. Most of it on twats as well. Included money on the training ground and stadium too though. I think thats what the commentator said. Ok, fair enough they do cost a lot of cash, but he's still bought a lot of twats though
-
City involved = price too high. He'd not join us ahead of them anyway of course. Agree he would probably rather earn a shit load and be 5/6 choice than earn a still good wages probably better than he can get renewing a contract with Swansea and be 3rd choice. The guy is not even 1st choice at Swansea.

Just thought what about the speculation surrounding Scott Sinclair? Could be him, or is it pretty much nailed on Man City? Wouldn't be too keen on him though.

You could be on the money with that one. I'd take him. Looks very raw though. If he could make a Victor Moses like improvement it would be good. How much though £5m-8m possibly?

I'm glad I read the blonde ESPN bird had been tweeting before reading this

How old is Sturridge, he could possibly fit Pardew's plans. Seems a bit of a big time charlie to me but there is not doubting playing week in week out he is a very good player. Not sure if he would play every week with us though.

I was thinking that at half time. I thought we were going to get dicked.

This, looking ahead to two very good chances to get back on track. Just think today Chelsea's cutting edge in attack made the difference for them, we found it hard to create clear chances. The penalty decision was very unfortunate for us at the moment it came in the game, as it put us on the back foot when it was quite an even contest. Hard for us to get anything back after that, although we did improve in the second half. Mata's movement and Hazard's play was the difference, Torres looked good at times too and troubled our defence, took his goal really well too. Our 1st half performance was very lethargic, which is a pity, but I am pretty sure we'll bounce back next Sunday against Villa.
-
Agree with this. And Ba looking sharper now than he did this time last season. Maybe we'll get a super charged Ba in a few weeks. Hopefully Tiote will be back next Sunday, we miss him breaking up play and upsetting the other teams rhythm.
-
Think he was probably referring to the EL game not realising we only had a handful of players starting that game and this

Cisse out AC9 in Not really. We do need another quality striking options, maybe Carroll is a smokescreen for other offers. Cisse looked bollocks at the end, surely it would have been worth having Campbell on the bench.
-
I stand by my point. Not sure what is so out there about my comment? Care to explain?
-
Could have hit that then. I'm not panicking about Cisse, Ba start last season just as bad. We were very poor 1st half, there was some encouragement in the 2nd half. Though you don't want to take things too lightly Villa are definitely beatable at St James'. Crying out for a good right back plus a good option of a striker off the bench.
-
Chelsea have completely stopped playing mind. They know we can't create enough to hurt them. Yeah they know they've probably did enough after that 1st half. We won't play many better teams this season. Still if someone offered me 3 points after two games I would have taken that. We've got to fancy our chances against Villa before a tough game against Everton.
-
2nd half has been far better. Plus a few good chance. Ba should have scored Cisse probably should have with the head to. Chelsea haven't been much of a threat 2nd half. Encouraging 2nd half given that Chelsea will probably occupy top 3 this season and has spent a shit load of cash.
-
Shows how far he's come along. This time last season if we made that sub it would be a RTGesq meltdown :-)
-
Settle down boys. Perchy will save us.
-
We'll be better going forward with Taylor at RB but Simmo is better defensively.
-
Looks tired to be fair. Missed Tiote today. I expect we'll see better from Anita.
-
Never thought of be gutted we didn't have Shola goal as an option off the bench. Cisse off the pace. Hopefully he'll get stronger just like Ba did after a similar start last season. Should have scored then.
-
Agree with that. Loses his shit as soon as he has to go forward or pass forward with the ball.

Earn a start Raylor. RB up for grabs
