He often plays upfront on his own and his good in the air. Nobody wanted him at 3m 2 years ago and it would just hurt our already fragile pride to splurge 9M on him.

Jermaine Defoe moved to Spurs in Jan. when they where struggling. Their are a few championship/foreign players who would do a good job.

Won't this have some effect on the injury when it comes to rehabilitation? Just let the lad have the operation.

The team isn't to good to go down but with the size of our club (transfers,salaries) we should be nowhere near the foot of the table.

We all know the lad is crap but his injury must have some impact on his perfomance.

Looked promising in his first year. His 2nd, we only played him sparingly and out of position when he was low on confidence and had that nightmare of a game at Marseille.

He's certainly had a terrible start over there, I'd stick with him for 18 months/2 years.
