No, he isn't. Fair enough. I thought Jagielka was on the bench for one of the games Everton were on Sky

Although it's made for erm... interesting viewing - this year has seen massive upheavel in squads around the PL, loads of youngsters have come through or developed their game. It's not ideal it's fallen on a WC year. Ideally, you want 80% of the squad/first XI together for the whole campaign. Reason being you build chemistry, learn each others game, get accustomed to the manager and just the weight of playing for England. Guess it's a good problem for the manager and exciting for us. Looking forward to the Euros more & more.

They need better back up, that's probably where they failed this year. But the right player doesnt seem to have been available for them at that time Meant to mention the January window It's more about the number of injuries than anything else. They have a disordinate amount. Months of the season without Ozil, Ramsey, Walcott & AOC. Imagine L'pool without Coutinho, Gerrard, Sterling & Henderson. They would be battling for 4th too. Rosicky, Cazorla, Arteta & Flamini are good players but they have played too many times. Ozil, Ramsey & Walcott are and should be the core. This Man Utd. side is still shit. Not even looking to get in behind Everton at all. It's like the want to play infront of Everton. Martinez moonwalking all-over Moyes. Great football.

Wouldn't take either a 4th CB or 2nd RB (if we take Smalling & Jones there's no need for a back-up RB) and bring another attacker. This Stones lad is keeping Jagielka out the team isn't he? Looks a prospect, very good on the ball too.

Definitely not like

12. Considerably more lean muscle than Hatem Ben Arfa
-
As a man that is carrying some impressive muscle mass. I'd say most of HBA's weight gain is fat. You can see it in his face. He hasn't developed the back or chest that suggests weights being the primary cause.

A stone equals to 6.5kg more or less no? So you're basically saying he needs to lose at least 13kg if not more. That's quite a lot man. Doubt he's put that much on. Looks like he could lose about 5kg but with him it's more the fitness than the weight. He needs to be strong and be able to put in the km's moreso than shifting the pounds for sharpness.

A lot depends on Alonso & Xavi.... and they are two tired men with a lot of miles on the clock.
-
I think they might have a better chance with those not going tbh. There's going to be a lot of tired legs and fatigue out there. Alonso and Xavi alone is one tournament too far IMO.

Imagine being able to leave Isco watching Chiles and co. at home. You guys are annoying.
-
Isco and Modric are two of my favourite players to watch. Alonso's an intelligent player. He made some remarks that he doesn't think the midfield is tough enough. That midfield 3 of Alonso Modric and Di Maria that worked so well for awhile though.

I barely post about NUFC anymore... need something to go on & on about.

Can't believe Madrid won playing a 4-4-2. Bale had a decent game and scored a super goal but wouldn't it had made more sense for him to play wide and Isco off the front man? Wasn't like Bale was trying to get in behind you guys. Madrid have been at their best this season when they've gone to play their natural game. I guess the loss to Barca and Dortmund away has made Ancelotti change gears in big games. Madrid tore Atleti apart in the cup but that's been the only times they've been able to do it against a top side. Alonso's lack of mobility is becoming a real issue.

I read his post. I didn't read the link about Arsenal being in worse shape than Madrid. It's all besides the point

We are level on goal difference with Crystal Palace now. Lovely.
