  1. Wait, haven't you been telling us the last couple of days that he's been s**** this season? No! CD has merely pointed out that he's been sh*t in the air, sh*t decision making, sh*t positionally, doesn't want to be here, shadow of his former self, had his head turned, lack of heart. Apart from those minor flaws for a CB he's alright. First name on the team sheet for CD ! Well he's better than Williamson and was vital for Saylor's revival. For the last couple of season's has been among the best in the league. This year he's been poor. If he's poor he shouldn't be playing. It's not that simple. Until Mbiwa came along we definitely did not have the quality in reserve. If you have a Rolls-Royce that is not performing to its level do you pack it in for a Focus? No, you work to improve the Rolls current performance. That's the last resort. He's in bad form, let's recognise that and help him improve. Not ignore it. I wouldn't drop Cisse for Shola unless we where desperate and I think Cisse has been terrible. Shola just doesn't have the quality. Although Pardew was right to start Shola against Metalist.

  3. Wait, haven't you been telling us the last couple of days that he's been s**** this season? He needs to do better. I'm not a knee-jerk fan. Colo has tremendous talent but he has to do better. He won't do so from the sidelines. Haven't seen enough of the new lad to want Colo dropped. IMO Krul Colo Cabaye HBA Cisse (formerly Ba) If they play well, we win a lot of football matches.
  4. Williamson's problems are more than a lack of pace.
  5. The season's not over. If they finished 3rd, then aye they improved. At the moment, they're in the same spot as last year at this time. I think the England stuff and the court case stuff had an effect too tbh, as well as Redknapp running out of ideas. My point is, the best people say about Redknapp is that he's "decent" here, "alright" there when he did a FANTASTIC job at Spurs. Almost Sir Bobby-esque turnaround. Won at the San Siro iirc. But the team does the same thing more or less and AVB's the man? Don't buy it. FWIW, I think Spurs may win a trophy due to AVB rotating the squad more. Agree on the last point. Levy didn't like Harry's style in the transfer market and AVB will definitely be better in that regard because he prefers youngsters.
  6. Williamson's a machine. Rarely injured. Remember he was out for something like 3 months, came straight into the team as well. Really hope he doesn't have to play.
  7. Damn. He and Krul are so crucial to our success. Step up, Yanga-Mbiwa.
  8. Ridiculous? Name 10 PL players who have fallen off worse compared to last season? Or the season before? Name just 5.
  9. Changed your mind then? But beinf supportive of your players works for the club 9 out of 10 times. So why do you do nothing but criticise and put down our players all the time? I don't. I've loved Cabaye since his return. Siss, Gouff in particular. I always give Simpson credit when it's due, often the only person doing so. Gave Debuchy massive plaudits after S'hampton etc. I've never said anything negative about HBA, he's just over-rated in some sectors. I even defend Pardew when it's due. I don't make scapegoats out of our lesser players. They're reliant on our better performers. But i'll call out fan favourites who deserve it. The biggest under performers of our side have been Colo and Cisse. They've had the biggest drop in form of all our players. People act like it's all Willo's fault or Saylors, greedy-Demba, Pardew etc. rarely look at the player's themselves letting US down.
  10. Changed your mind then? How genuinely pathetic. Liverpool fans have their strengths and weaknesses. They support their team to the hill which is great. The RAWK admin took it too far with the censorship and it was pathetic. The way they handled the Suarez racism thing was too far and also pathetic. Everyone realised that was a horrendous mistake. But beinf supportive of your players works for the club 9 out of 10 times. We as NUFC are too impatient. We happily sold Milner and Parker when they had plenty to offer.
  11. Not a big fan of his. His write ups are OK, but rarely covers both aspects, only ever seems to write what fits in with his opinion (basically no critical analysis). The Coloccini bit is interesting. Mentions the faults, but does he at any point mention the good things? Kompany won't be in the team of the year either, but doesn't mention that. Used to enjoy reading Zonal Marking, but I think it's somewhat weak now. No. The article is about under-performers. I agree Kompany could also be on this list too but I don't care about him. Nasri, Sagna, Jelavic, torres (bad choice), Jarvis, Adams, Borini, Bosingwa made the rest of the list.
  12. Spurs of this year have played no better than the Spurs of last year, pre-slump. At their best they had a very good Bale/Lennon wide, Modric spraying passes to them. Adebayor linking it upfront and VDV causing havoc in the whole. They did this for 9-10 games in a row. This side, as a whole, hasn't hit those heights consistently but are 3rd. scary really. Harry put togetehr an excellent counter-attacking team at Pompey.
  13. I#m actually delivering my points with facts. RAWK-tastic on here in recent times
  14. An article written by Simon Cox/Zonal Marking
  15. Well he's the worst in the league in his position at them so... aye he's piss poor in the year. Why was he 5 yards behind Taylor for that goal anyway?
  16. Wish he was just on the bench at S'hampton at the very least.
  17. A couple of months ago, statistics website WhoScored.com revealed that Coloccini had the worst aerial success rate for any Premier League centre-back this season – a surprising revelation. The personal problems that prompted Newcastle’s captain to request a transfer shouldn’t be ignored, of course, but they seem to be affecting his performance on the pitch. As well as the aerial weakness, his positional play has been poor – witness his odd positioning for Bale’s second goal in Newcastle’s 2-1 defeat at Tottenham earlier this month. Coloccini was alongside Vincent Kompany in last year’s PFA Team of the Year – he won’t be elected for a second consecutive season. Good summation of him this season as a whole.
  18. Simpson is decent. Debuchy is good. I'm happy. Could play in the higher echelons of the league year-in year-out.
  19. Aye, Ashley fluked his way to a billion. I remember some saying Fernandes was a better business man.
  20. I have watched his time at Porto as well, they didn't had to play counter attacking football as much however his ball passing and retention style is pretty much the same. The only difference was that at Porto the league was much slower and allowed time for more possession on the individual, it was this exact thing that he had a hard time at Chelsea trying to set up the same way to play in the Portuguese League. However he has always being a more defensive 1st coach, working on the opposition attack before defense. Personally i don't see him being like Guardiola and Mourinho, He doesn't Value possession as much like Guardiola and doesn't play like Mourinho. its still difficult to tell since his style is evolving, at the moment its more Italian in my eyes. Thought his Chelsea side was too attacking. Pressed too high.
  21. Chelsea didn't. Didn't watch much Porto. Spurs certainly do. Spurs where very strong at home under Harry. Better than they are now. they certainly knew how to break teams down
  22. If I was him, i'd look to run it down to atleast the last year. opens his options up. How long is left? 2 years? We need to sort it asap.
  23. never said it's an easy sale.
  24. I didn't bring it up. Just shared me opinion. Nobody's offered £20m for either. E very club except a small handful, are selling clubs. Our best players should only go to that small group unless others are willing to spend as if they belong in that group.
