  1. At least he didn't swear. Or maybe they edited that bit out. What did he say? Richards swore after his goal against Villa in the F.A Cup the other year. That was funny. He was so happy.. he did the elongated/sighed "fuuuuuuck"
  2. The competition for that title: Smith - average squad forward who's bark is worse than his bite, played as the lone forward. Martins - clueless "speedster" who looks like a lost 4 year old who's been left behind in the supermarket by their parents when put on the right wing. Barton - midfielder who is very slowly building up his form, and even then he was hardly a top class attacking player. The truth is, Milner only has to put a few aimless crosses into the box to get called attacking MOTM, because everyone else is either s*** or playing s*** (or injured), and thats pretty much the case at the moment. Agreed.
  3. I'm inclined to believe the latter, really. The sort of crosses you usually get frustrated at are the ones too close to goal, the ones the 'keeper grabs. No numbers to back it up, of course, but I think we've had a fair few at the back post this season - just that noone's ever there to pick them up. How about young James looks up when he crosses and attempt to pick someone out. He'll never be good enough in the long-run imo. And by the "long-run" I mean if we ever want to consistently challenge for Europe he'll have to move down the pecking order. If that's true, then the majority of our team isn't good enough because very few of them outperform Milner on a regular basis. Yeah, the rest are even worse.... but we all know that. I'm not saying James is the weakest link.. he's one of our better players which is a sad fact.
  4. Your mate Andy Johnson scored woopdeedoo, whats that now 3 prem goals in 9 months? (by the way, the player who you didnt want at your club and claimed would be a flop also scored) Steady on. Yakubu has done a lot better than I thought he would, mostly because Moyes has got him to pick up his work rate and fitness a bit Lies. Moyes just let Yak do Yak.

  6. Aye not very good. Lacks real quality. We need wide players as good as Solano and Robert in their pomp.
  7. Once again terrible match. I might as well do something worthy with my time and d/l some porn.
  8. Sam forgot to adjust the team instructions tab. We all do that from time to time.
  9. Totally agree. Top, top player and is actually under-rated by England & Premiership fans. He's more important to England than any other player. He's the only England player to consistently to a quality and looks as good for his club as he does England unlike every single other England player.
  10. I still think even if we have success with Big Sam in time his style of play will eventually cost him his job.
  11. Berbatov is so extra. Some call it class but that was just extra.
  12. He has homosexual quirks doesn't he? Little looks and stuff.
  13. Eiidur Gudjohnson as the greatest accent.
  14. His best prolonged run of form was after he got sent-off at Everton early in the 2003-4 season up until about February of that season. I remember he was on fire at the time and was overlooked for the France squad with Bruno Cheyrou selected ahead of him after a run of about 3-4 decent games for Liverpool that December and that seemed to knock the stuffing out of him. True. I remember SBR talking about how he was also working much harder for the team. Something about now when I substitute him or at the end of the game and I tap him on the back I can actually feel the sweat; I couldn't before. After Cheyrou got picked ahead of him his form dipped again. What was his highest ever Premierhsip goals tally? How long will it be until someone from midfield scores more than that?
  15. I don't even think it's because she's a woman. She's just crap. Almost as bad as the cringe master who does the ITV UEFA Cup and CL matches. And i'm not talking about Pleat.. I remember now.. Tyldesley or whatever.
  16. Hopefully.... January window will be crucial. We lack quality & still leaking goals.
  17. When they get the ball they don't launch straight back to the opposition. They like the ball, the ball is their friend.
  18. And Ronaldo yesterday - f****** joke that Aye, all the debate over whether ours was a penalty or not, and a clear dive off Ronaldo ignored by the media. Aye, granted they were winning 3-1 but still a dive is a dive
  19. Inconsistency? He is anything but that. One decent game amongst a plethora of s**** ones suggests you are wrong. Best player on the park was Beye by the way. Again, I think people get fooled by a lovely stepover followed by an utterly s*** cross. The sitter he missed was indicative of his play. f*** knows how he managed that the biff. Don't get me wrong, he wasnt bad but some of the stuff here is mind blowingly over the top. Its a good job the bairns here didnt see Chrissy Waddle against Man City in 1983. There would be teen jizz all over monitors on Tyneside. That was a proper display from a true winger with ability (and anyone who reckons Waddler lacked pace clearly never saw him! ) This is the forum where members think Eboue isn't that fast.
