No club in the world could afford the wages that Chelsea are currently paying. That must have atleast half a dozen players over 90k a week.... they'll need to let these players go and move to a bigger stadium before they can fully establish themselves with out Roman.

Darren Bent is by no means a target man We have an option to take a gamble with Carroll, or try and sign one those: Nikola Zigic, Jan Koller, Alan Smith (can work great as a target man) , Stefen Iversen (scored something like 20+ goals this season), etc.. But i don't think a player like Darren Bent will do us any good at the moment.. Darren Bent plays well upfront on his own for Charlton. Whilst not very big he's good in the air and is good at holding up the ball and bringing others into play.

An attacking 3 consisting of Zenden, Pennant and Kuyt are not good enough to win the CL but they were a deflection away from doing so. Finnan looked like he was injured/knackered so I can understand that substitution although he coulda flung Bellamy on RW and put Pennant as a WRB.... Tactically pretty sound but his substitutions were very poor

Kuyt, Zenden, Kewell and Pennant aren't really good enough for a club who wish to win the CL even though Biscan and Traore have CL winners medals..

Seedorf played well against Manure but 90% of the times I have seen him he's been utter shit.

Bent has less glaring flaws as Oba but seems fairly injury prone. I'd move Owen on and get Bent to play with Oba.

Scholes > Carrick If anyone's worried about their position it's going to be Carrick....Scholes isn't getting any younger but he's still undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the world.

I thought Carrick was more creative and Hargreaves more defensive like Sissoko and Alonso. Maybe he wants to have a the option of 433 for Europe. They are a little light-weight in the middle with Scholes and Carrick's attempts at tackling.
