His numbers are wrong. All clubs eventually report accounts to Companies House and it will include a wage bill for staff.
-
You've replied to an old quote. Kieran Maguire has the most accurate wage bill list. They are old (based on last years accounts) but they are accurate. He's shared this from The Times so I assume they are using the same methodology. Villa & Chelsea are reliant on academy sales to keep them FFP compliant. Chelsea still hasn't released their accounts for last FY. Full list - some of these don't include up to date numbers from Spurs and Fulham and maybe a few others.
-
Ah yes the old - let's have a stronger bench than starting XI strategy.

RIP Joe Kinnear. It’s just football.
-
Massive if Chelsea can hold on to this lead. They finally seem to be going on Arun.
-
I pray to God we try to hit Spurs on the counter.

Liverpool are winning the league if they can nab this.
-
Ah Salah is off pens? He should be. MacAllister is better at them.
-
I can see Salah missing this.

I like Diaz. But he’s currently a level or two below prime Mane. He’s not clinical enough. Mane was good for 11-22 league goals all open play. Diaz is busy. A good ball carrier but he’s not the same level of match winner.

If there’s a jammier team than Liverpool it’s Man U. This is why I always assume they’ll get 6th. They’ll do it somehow some way.
-
Mainoo is him.

Aye. Arsenal had a dip in December that might cost them the league. Imo they’ve been the best team across the season. Liverpool aren’t that good. But win in clutch moments - our game at home for example. No CL football is probably worth an additional 3-5 points for them.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)
The College Dropout replied to 54's topic in Football
If he were to get solid minutes next season I would keep him. If we can’t get him good minutes I would have him back out on loan to Feyenoord. Hes done well there but I’d love for him to have a season there he just dominated. -
We’re fighting.
-
Would like to see him start left Gordon on the right.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

This team is way better than lasts. -
Don’t watch the game but what people are saying is consistent with what I’ve seen from him previously. I’ve assumed for some time he’s just not as developed as Eddie needs so he’s just not been considered much.

Tonali doesn't have Bruno's distribution but he's more athletic.
-
Tonali is closer in role to Longstaff than Bruno. Bruno's book value is less than £10m and he earns around £7.5m per year. It's a lot of wriggle room. But fuck that. We need 1 more year.

Looks like we have a similar chip strategy but very different teams. Captaincy and WC success will determine a lot.

Financial Fair Play / Profit & Sustainability
The College Dropout replied to Mattoon's topic in Football
That's a bit stupid - no? UEFa have harsher laws but more lenient punishment. There's a trade-off there. Adopting the harsher laws but keeping the harsher punishment doesn't make any sense. -

Aligning more with UEFA should mean less draconian penalties for falling foul. -
#1 in the NO league is 36 points ahead of me and is ranked at about 6-7k OR. With some luck - anyone in the top 10 could win it. I think 10th is about 100k OR and about 90 points off the top. But I think dude that is first this year has been close to first in the last couple of years. I remember a couple Scandi names leading the charts these last couple years.

31k OR. Id be delighted to end the season here. Will aim for a top 10k finish. Anything below 50k now would be a disappointment.
