It’s Tonali and Bruno who should be keeping the ball who often play low percentage balls for seemingly no reason. That’s just how we play. -

It’s almost intentional. We rarely keep the ball for keeping the balls sake. -
It’s second priority for me
-
Thought he got into good positions then it fizzled. A couple nice interceptions too.

Newcastle United vs. Chelsea: 11/05/25 @ 12:00 (TNT Sports)

I’ve got full belief in Howe. But this game has become a lot trickier with Chelsea picking up confidence, form and players back from injury while we’re lost one. I just back Howe in a big game like this at home. -
Not much has changed. Need to beat Chelsea and Everton. Good point in the end. I’m 90% confident 68 points gets it done. I’m 99.9% certain 69 points gets it done. We are on track for 69 points. Massive game next week.

Yeh he did more good things than Bruno or Tonali tbf

Thought he was the best winger on the pitch. Not that the competition was tough but still. -
We always needed to beat Chelsea. Beating them without Joelinton is going to be tough but we can do it. Unless Arsenal are in the CL final, they’ll play a full strength team and want a win as it’s their last home game of the season. Assuming they aren’t in the final - I reckon we lose that or draw at best. That would mean we would need to beat Everton to qualify and I think we’ll do just that.
-
Lads in here saying Liverpool would play like they had something to prove. Great timing of the fixtures for Chelsea
-
We always needed to beat Chelsea tbf. I wanted it to be a knockout blow for Chelsea but it won’t be that.
-
Strap him up one more time
-
He was ok. But we missed the Big Joe’s presence and ability to make the ball stick and play off.
-
Needs to be more decisive. Too many times attacks break down because of him. Dont want to see him and Gordon start next week. So many faltering attacks.
-
Thought the Wilson sub worked well. At the least it let Isak drop deeper and collect the ball in dangerous spaces more often. A few times he was able to drive towards goal and lay it off to Gordon or Barnes

Would’ve been a bargain had we got to keep him at £8m. I really liked one cross he put in particularly. Quick ball into a dangerous space. Something I rarely see from Gordon and it’s frustrating -
Said all week Liverpool winning the title is a massive boost for Chelsea and probably what will make them qualify for the CL. At this rate the goal difference might swing their way
-
Been saying this for awhile now. The drop off after 1 injury is too much
