Strikes a ball cleanly. Had one little pass near the end where he nudges it with his toe/outside of the foot. Lovely stuff. Sometimes his first touch and short passing is a bit off.

Guessing he’s posted stuff about me? I’ve blocked him. I didn’t rate Gordon. But I’ve always said he has some good attributes. My view of him at the time was based on what I had seen. I’ve given him credit for his performances this season. I still have doubts about his quality at the highest level. But he was tremendous today and he’s been our best attacker this season. His game is developing well.

Fully agree. Reminds me (from SU perspective) of us under spells with Pardew Souness Kinnear and the like against a top team that’s motivated and wants blood. He runs past 2 or 3 with 1 pass.

Nah he got it all wrong today. Didn’t motivate his players. Didn’t do anything tactically to trouble us. Post match he said he wanted to put out an attacking team. We are miles better than them. His players gave up. The Wilder rumours have undermined him though.

I agree. We took full advantage of an awful team. We were relentless. All the more impressive considering the midweek exertions. But they were terrible.

You were right. They got everything wrong. And we got better and better.

When you lose 8-0. Surely you were awful? And the winning team has played great. In the second half we were excellent. Some great moves and finishes. We were relentless. But you could tell we could rack up a crazy score if we stepped it up at half time because they were genuinely terrible. And they were bad bad bad.

He was phenomenal. But aye they let him do whatever he wanted to do.let him do that and he’s unstoppable.

Also has the mind to fill in at the right times. Makes runs to give others space.

Makes others play better. He looks to plug in holes and find others in spaces they want.

Pure quality.

Aye losing 8-0 at home is pathetic. We genuinely weren’t particularly good in the first half. 3-0. They were just as bad in the second half and we were genuinely quality. Scored another 5. The Miggy goal was so pathetic. Low effort. Low teamwork. Low quality. Terrible tactically. No motivation. Worst performance I’ve ever seen from a PL team at home. But We were so sharp mentally. We kept our intensity up for 90 minutes. The attitude of our boys was spot on after a difficult week. All the credit to Howe and the coaching team for that.

Legendary afternoon that will live long in our memories.

Worst performance that I’ve seen in a long time. Not one positive thing to say about them.

We’ve been mentality monsters today. The right attitude for 90 minutes. Kept our foot on their necks. SU have been awful but we’ve been relentless.

8. Isak. So easy.

Thought he was a bit quiet today but took his game well.

Best game yet. Learning that LCM role. Won’t have a better opponent to play against at this level though. But good game. Justified the start. He may even be rested midweek to play on the weekend again.

He’s our main threat in attack. I was surprised he didn’t start - he’s the main man. Always wants the ball. Uses both feet. His thinking is often so sharp. And his confidence is so high. He’s trying things and pulling it off. He strikes a clean ball.

Our mentality to this game has been 10/10.

Sheffield United have played into our hands. You can’t compare this to any other game.
