Aye he had some shockers. He doesn't have that dog in him as a defender. And he's not that good on the ball either. Alaba's immeasurably better on the ball and composed. Militao has that dog in him but can lose composure. Out of Ramos, Pepe, Alaba & Varane - Varane's the weakest player. Pepe is under rated. I think he's still in the Portugal side. He must be 40 by now.

This is why i don't see it happening even if they sell Casemiro. Valverde's a central midfielder too. And then there's Kroos and Modric.
-
I can finally call people bedwetters. We do need to make progress to keep our best players though. Obviously.
-
Yeah Pulisic would be a marquee signing even on loan. You would think we could get CHO on loan under Ashley. Agreed rather Gallager than CHO.
-
If we got 2 Chelsea lads and JP - I would be pretty happy. Pulisic/Gallager + JP is good too.

I think it's sub £40m. Issa bit weak init?

This is fair. Arsenal were heavily linked with Bruno for example. Milan obviously in for Botman. Paqueta has City links and already had a move to a massive club. Same is true in reverse. Someone like Aouar went from Liverpool and Arsenal links to Forest and Palace and you think - what's happened to the lad? Never seen him play one way or the other. Rando I remember hearign Seri compared to Xavi. A year later he rocked up to Fulham, scored a wonder goal than stunk the place out.

Casemiro's had a great run.

This video cracks me up every time People are doing a lot regarding Etikite. It’s early days. It’s only been a few minutes but the fact he is getting some minutes off the bench already suggests the coach rates him a little at least. But as for the move. He’s already won. He got what he wanted.

Aye I could be wrong. But this is what the signs and rumours are pointing too. I don’t think we’ll sign a player as highly regarded as Botman in attacking positions permanently. It’s too expensive. I don’t think it fed into a notion that’s prevented us from signing others. I just think it’s depleted some FFP headroom. Clubs aren’t asking for unreasonable fees. I criticised the JM fees and people told me it was smart negotiation. I’m glad you can agree it’s a simple point with logic. It could turn out to not be the case but it’s still a logical idea.

The Tory donors? The people that found these investors? I don’t have to like any of them to support Newcastle United. NUFC will be here long after these are the owners and management. And hopefully so will I. From a sporting perspective they’ve given me something to have interest and passion for. But the rest? Fuck them.

I feel like those 2 touch finishes from just outside the box, or the long ball from a defender/deep where he times his run 1 or 2 touch then in.... he did that all the time. I thought at first Son ended up taking some of his best positions and maybe that contributed to his fall. He was never that great in general play but he's totally shot now. Sad. Rashford looks like he's heading down the same path.

A lot of it was mental sharpness and instinctive skill. He wasn't a technical player in the broad sense nor one dependent on physicality. He would time runs, show great finishing skills or a deft touch, see a killer ball. A bit like Thomas Muller with a bit of skill.
-
I assume he means - just fuck them. He supports Newcastle United. He cares about the interests of NUFC. He hold no personal warmth for them nor feels a need to protect all of their decisions. That's how I feel at least. I sense a lot of people dislike criticism of the regime's management like it's a criticism of NUFC as an entity. From what i've seen - any criticism is very light too (in terms of transfer strategy or performance) but the defence league won't have a peep of it.

Maybe.

Think both clubs would just be happy to get him off the wage bill. Why did I think Alli had Turkish heritage?
