  1. Wilson's injury is serious isn't it? This has come out the blue.
  2. One of them was that he would win the Ballon D'or.. so I guess not.
  3. Needs to go on loan to rebuild his value.
  4. When in this case, Black Friday is 11 months away.
  5. Vieira doing the best out of him, Stevie G and Lampard warms my heart
  6. Exactly. In recent years the biggest costs have been that stadium redevelopment that's likely to cost 800m euros but that's not a FFP consideration.
  7. Why do people keep mentioning RM? In the FFP era - they run a negative net spend on transfer windows more years than not.
  8. Aye - given the choice i'm sure he chooses us. He may not get to have a choice.
  9. That's why he's so popular. Whatever he's saying - it's legit. He may not always be the first to report news but you know it's certified. ^^This was in my drafts. It still stands.
  10. Arsenal have spent A LOT of money. Interestingly, they are looking to spend more on a RW.
  11. 20 G/A in the league is excellent. 15 is the base for a very good season.
  12. Aye. He's to blame for the poor attacking output. The build up is painfully slow. It's not like City with runners from deep and shifting roles, it's all pretty rigid.
  13. The proof is in the pudding. They are terrible owners. With mega resources - the team has been awful for over a decade. They've not put together a competent leadership and management framework. You can't judge owners by £££ spent in the transfer market - especially when a club has significant revenue and spending power. Ultimately, you just owners by results and club stature. Since Fergie left, the club has gone backwards in every department. Of PL club owners - Glazers would rank close to the bottom. Man Utd, Everton, perhaps Villa are the only clubs with Owners / Leadership that have under performed.
  14. I don't think it's "silly" cash though. £25m-£30m would be a steal.
  15. To Leeds? It was always going to be £35m-£40m. Based on how he's started this season - definitely much closer to £40m. Proven PL output and years left on a contract will demand a v. good fee and we should know that. We would've valued Maxi around the same pre-takeover with lower output (although younger with a longer contract).
  16. Attacking players, especially pacy dribblers are never going to do it - every week. The key for him is to put in the graft 10 games out of 10. And an effective attacking performance 6-7 games out of 10.
  17. Glad he got his goal against City. Has a great relationship with Bruno.
  18. I've said this all summer. 2 good attacking signings away from being a really good team
