  1. Tbf I didn't care then. I do care now.
  2. Ok it's not as bad as I remember: But there are definite stamina issues. That head movement is Shelvey-esque.
  3. The outgoing transfers will be last. Nobody will be rushing to sign Jeff Hendrick. A lot of them will be loans rather than sales too. We've let them go stale.
  4. If 9th is the target we can get 2 out of striker, RW & CM. If we want to aim for higher, we'll need all 3. Not to say we can't get higher with just the 2. But that requires both transfers really working. Like the season we signed Cabaye, Ba and Cisse.
  5. Seen Tielemans get burned by Rice and Willock has ruined him for me tbh.
  6. I thought Ronaldo would ruin Man Utd and blamed him for Juve falling off. But Juve finished 4th and still bad. And Man Utd looked worse without him in the side. And tbf - I really enjoyed watching him this season. Some fantastic finishing. That Spurs hat-trick - I loved it.
  7. Kulu came in January and did more in 5 months than Bergwijn managed in 2.5 years. Kulu looks a top talent. Bergwijn looks a good midtable player. I’d have him at Selhurst Park.
  8. If we look like contenders in 2 years - we’ll have the financial might to get it done in 3 years. Likely to be 5 CL places from 24 onwards and the EL route.
  9. Big reason I think this 4-5 years to get into the CL doesn’t make sense. If these signings are as good as we hope - they’ll want out in 24 months if we aren’t looking like we can be contenders for CL spots.
  10. Lingard should use Everton as a negotiation tactic for West Ham.
  11. It's beneficial to both clubs at the detriment of the player
  12. Mitrovic is great for Serbia. International football is a different kettle of fish. For Spurs. He’s not shown this quality you speak of. As an avid FPL player I’ve watched a lot of spurs over the last few years. The lad has not been good. He has not performed. He’ll be sold and not missed for a reason.
  13. I’ve seen enough of him in the PL to know he’s Brighton quality. He’ll not be a regular in a PL side consistently qualifying for CL.
  14. Agreed. Lukaku, Havertz I think we’re signed as Crown Jewels but Werner and Ziyech - yes definitely. Liverpool have brought in Jota and Diaz for squad depth at least initially. The famous Pep roulette. looks like Spurs want to be at that level rather than the Arsenal + 2 of the last few years.
  15. I like his touch and weight of pass. I like him.
  16. His agent is Deco. THE Deco. From the initial interest earlier in the year, I can see Raph's head only being in that direction. Imagine ending up at Arsenal when you thought you were Barca bound. Can imagine Deco's spoken at length to him about his time in Barcelona.
  17. Any decent comps? All i've seen is good penalty box finishes from crosses in a weak division. I like his size and box instincts though. From the very little i've seen - i prefer Hugo. Hugo looks like he can play wide and likes a dribble.
  18. Chelsea lads on loan in August... can't afford (or not worth the risk) a fee and wages for any of them but i'd take any of Werner, Ziyech, Pulisic, CHO on loan with a decent option to buy fee. Except Pulisic & CHO injury record is extremely bad
  19. Declan Rice is 100% running down his contract. West Ham will be forced to sell next season in the £40-£70m range.
  20. Disagree with the bolded but the rest is true.
  21. A free-agent Harry Kane has his pick of clubs. I genuinely see Real, Barcelona, Bayern etc. as genuine options in 2 years. He'll have a Henik Larsson like end to his career at European giants - especially if he doesn't price himself out of moves.
  22. I totally forgot about Bissouma. Good signing. I'm still in the mindset that a £50m player should be a star player for Spurs or at least guaranteed starter. But if you've got £50m for a back-up forward - then cool. As you say - you're linked with players in the right positions anyway so it looks like you will continue to invest. With a happy Conte - Spurs will easily finish top 4 and have a genuine chance of winning the league. Conte's already clocked one 90 point season in the PL. If he can do that again, Spurs can win the league. Also Spurs do need to start planning for a post-Kane world. I don't think he'll re-sign, especially if Klopp/Pep are around and interested or Madrid/Bayern/PSG are also interested. If a team is willing to drop £80m for Kane next summer, Spurs in the CL, Conte happy enough - I can see him selling. I'm just not sure a team will come in for Kane at that price given his injury issues and lack of mobility already. He's already less mobile than Benzema who is turning 35 this year.
  23. I like the signings. It's the manager I don't rate but they can replace him.
