Btw I think £30m is a really tricky price point. That’s the Villa, Everton zone. Very hot and miss. You’re relying on superior scouting and such for that route to be a route into the top 6. Teams in that space they have made it work have had elite or at least top 6 quality players emerge from the academy’s or like… Jamie Vardy on their books. Not counting Liverpool who have always had a great pull.
-
Aye but Arsenal aren’t in for Harrison now. And neither will any top 6 side.
-
Aye I don’t think they will sell for that much. That amount is very hit and miss and Harrison is consistent. They’ll want close to £40m and we should look elsewhere for that amount. Might as well pay 25-50% more for a player we think might be able to play at the very top. I’ve said it before. Whether it’s deadline day. January. Summer 2023, 2024. If PIF are serious about us becoming title contenders, we’ll have to seriously splash the cash at some point.

Pepe is legit on the outskirts of the Arsenal first team. He’s like their 14th man. they are actively trying to replace him.
-
Jack Harrison 25 G/A in 2 seasons is impressive. if he scores 8 goals in the league you would say ‘good return’. BUT - It feels underwhelming. And surely Leeds won’t sell.
-
We'll panic at some point and drop the money that's needed.
-
Who Arsenal? Why don't we have a new CEO yet?
-
Yep that was FS days with Bobby in charge. The world's a very different place but we are still here arguing about Newcastle United CB's
-
Off topic - it's crazy how long people have been on this forum. I've been here 17 years. 2 or 3 people on this page alone have been here longer. Glad you are all in good health and good spirits.

Having a "best XI" with Wilson on the bench and Miggy RW - makes zero sense.
-
A RW is of more importance than a striker imo. Wilson and Wood are better strikers than Miggy, Fraser and Murphy are wide attacker.
-
Aye. From Southampton days - Mane always had that movement. Think he scored a couple against us with Pelle slipping or nodding it through to him as he made those diagonal runs from wide into central areas. That's my biggest issue with Marcus Rashford. He wants to run and shoot all the time. Sometimes make a run without the ball, couple touches - goal. Ancelotti is a good coach for making attackers more efficient. DCL & Vini Jr. have both spoken about how he simplified their games to make them potent. Think he used good 'ol Pippo Inzaghi as the benchmark.

Midtable wingers are nearly all inconsistent. We have one capable of brilliance. The others are consistently underwhelming.
-
If it's Traore vs. Fraser, Miggy, Murphy. Aye - bring in ol Adama. But I expect us to be able to bring in better.
-
Moyes did well with Arnautovic as well. But he’s another strong lad.
-
He was pap and Antonio was better.
-
At 20 he should want to get to the best club he can. The manner of it all I don't really blame him.
-
I feel like Moyes-ball needs a link man uptop. Is that Scamacca? Youtubed: Yes - he seems excellent at it in terms of little flicks to team mates
-
VI didn't answer the question but yes - Barcelona are the bad guys. I hope Frenkie gets all of his money.

People on NO made me dislike Anita. He was a hard working player and tried his best - usually I don't give players stick who do that week in week out. But some acted like he could be Claude Makelele if not for Alan Pardew. Gave him so much grace with sub-par performance after another sub-par performance. Such a poor player. Anita & Colback midfield - absolutely awful. The Netherlands and Brazil have definitely sold the most garbage players around Europe. I think both Richarlison and Raphinha have been sold with a 20% Brazilian tax added to the bill.
-
Why would we even loan him out?
-
Lazy take. Technically Traore is fine. First touch is solid, basic passing fine. He's not Shola Ameobi. It's his end product, final pass / cross that isn't good.
-
Always liked the look of Gibbs-White.

Boelhy's playing FM and i'm excited for the outcome (surely failure but I like the transfers).
