They look worryingley (sic) good. -
he looked a lot more up for it than Sammy tonight who i thought bottled a couple of challenges and looked terrified of getting stuck in.

If i was Pardew i'd be staying at home and sending Willie Donachie over to france with the U21 squad. f*** off with that s****. Resting players has not helped us one f***ing bit this year. We've still played a mix of first team and reserves, i'm saying f*** that and just play ALL reserves and leave both the first team squad and coaching staff at home. NUFC won't be risking any first team players against Bordeaux. Elliot or Harper, Amalfitano, Bigirimana, Abeid and players from the U21 squad will play that game. That's what i'm saying but i'd go even further and leave all of the first team coaching staff including pardew at home and treat it as an U21 game with Willie Donachie taking the team over.

The BBC Say he is 6' 3" and my neice who is 6 foot had her picture taken with him in Tup Tup and he doesn't tower over her, not as big as 6' 5"
-
i would have him culpable for the 2nd goal, Williamson was never going to win that header against Jones, the bloke is a giant who also has a great leap and the ball forward was perfect for him to get the run and leap on Williamson I'm not sure of their exact heights but Williamson looks a fair bit taller than Jones. No reason he can't win that header. Jones is 6' 2" and Williamson is 6' 3"

Another ban for Colo and with it being his 2nd and 4 game ban i presume then. Crouch nutted his arm FFS. Colo was nowhere near him and had a free header until crouch came at him from the side, totally self inflicted and i also think perch did the same when he clattered side on into Kenny Jones. -
although it doesn't excuse an embarrassing last 10 minutes filled with poor play. Confidence evaporated when they equalised, they didn't have to work that hard for the goals or anything. Do you not think our legs had gone by then though, we worked bloody hard tonight after having played Thursday and again on sunday?

Pardew just said nobody will be back in time for Monday on SSN -
Tenuous, but he actually had a header on target.

Cisse and Ba were more or less through on goal, not totally clear but they were both most definitely chances. Yip, we had chances to kill the game off and the keeper made a couple of saves. I thought we did okay. Substitutes were a bit strange as Sammy looked shit scared of getting involved at all. I would have took Ba off for Ranger not Cisse and at least we saw Ranger actually win a header from a long hoof at the end.

A draw sounds about right. It would be nice to see a balanced midfield instead of two holding ones, but we missed that boat in our last two home games. Maybe this isn't the right one for it, although personally I wouldn't be against seeing someone like Gosling introduced. Not that I rate him, I just think 4-4-2 is pointless with two defensive players in the middle. Gosling is injured. -
Me Jeans would be roond me ankles if they nicked me belt!!!

We did one on sunday in the 2nd half very similar to the one Stoke scored from at West Ham the other week but it ended with a tame Ba header rather than the raker Walters scored with.

Possibly, i'm sure the only goal they had conceded prior to our visit was one for Man Utd from hernandez. -
Pardew in The Journal holding his hands up and saying it's crap and they're going to stop doing it.
