I was baffled by our first two changes for different reasons. No need for Shola to come on and certainly not for Ferguson who'd done okay (certainly better than Sammy). I was equally as baffled by the withdrawal of Simpson for Bigirimana especially as Anita went to left back and Santon (our best player) moved from left back to right back where his threat was subsequently nullified.

I disagree. Sammy was shit. Unfortunately it was Ferguson that went off. Shola coming on was the product of a stupid starting 11. Sammy had a nightmare, he should have made way not Ferguson but not for Shola FFS!

He played well today i thought, and was unlucky to be hooked.

It has been very disruptive and good performances in europe haven't got fringe players into the PL team which is disheartening for them as they may think why bother if i'm going to be dropped again at the weekend.

Bit of stretch to call that as assist I thought Marveuax shot was in to be honest. He played a lot better today in his short cameo, but it wasn't hard to better than some of the others today mind.

Last season when we went on an 11 game unbeaten start to the season and then in the spring won 7 games on the spin we had in both spells a very settled side. We played virtually the same side every single week in both of those spells with minimal changes. This season i know we have had injuries and suspensions,but we also have changes from game to game which were unforced and also have changed almost the entire team for Europa and COC games which means we've never had a settled side and haven't therefore managed to settle into any sort of rytham whatsoever. We need to be playing the same team in europe as we do in the PL to keep continuity and get ourselves into the a rythm. Rubbish to say players will get too tired, if they win in europe and then repeat that in the league they'll all still want to play as players in winning teams don't get tired, will play through the pain barrier so as not to lose their place. Chopping and changing a losing side is easy and players are more likely tohide and cry off with any little niggle.

Radio Newcastle said him and Jonas were definately out but we've seen Pardew play the definately out card this season with HBA so god knows who's fit and who isn't.

This. They were shit themselves and played exactly how we knew they would play. Also as poor as we were we had a goal wrongly disallowed and were denied a stone-wall penalty. We also had 3 times as many shots on target as they did. Diame was a beast in midfield and Anita and Cabaye couldn't handle him whereas i think Tiote would.

I've never seen a team waste as much time as they did yesterday mind. Don't think we were out tacticked either, we just missed Tiote massively as Diame ran the show.

We were heading only one way under him, down. He bought a collection of players that were one paced, useless and who had no creativity of any kind. The last 7 or so games under him were the worst i've ever seen us play. The TV game at Fulham which we won 0-1 was the most embarrassed i've ever been watching us win.
