Agree.. we need that kind of change Sammy is a MUCH better option Hhmm, you still sticking with that? Sammy has been absolutely abysmal. The lad is not ready for premiership football yet. Agree. Obertans pace at least makes teams drop 10 to 15 yards deeper as they are wary of it which keeps them 10 to 15 yards further away from our goal at least.

I watched NUFC 5 MUFC 0 on ESPN Classic last night. Last time i watched that game was the night before we beat Spurs on the opening day of the season. I'm clutching at straws big style here mind. -

PMSL, superb. -
Which serves more to highlight our lack of goals scored more than anything else.

August/September 2008. Arsenal, Hull, West Ham, Blackburn. We haven't lost 5 league games in a row since 1991/92 and have therefore never lost 5 in a row in the PL. -

Cheeky Scamp that he is. Flood the midfield and hope for the best. I'd take a nil nil draw now but fear a right fucking tonking. -
Absolutely. He didn't have a great game but when the pressure is constantly on, and when the weather's like that, you can forgive him a slip up here and there. He got no help from any of the ten people in front of him today. I actually said "well in" when he rushed out just before the first goal; what happened afterwards was just a comedy of errors and Krul was unfortunate. He should have put that in Row Z mind.
-
he's not the only one though.

Come on for Cisse after 50 minutes?

Yip, 14th tonight and looking ominously downwards rather than upwards. Don't care if it's an absolutely shit game and we score an og or get one off someones arse, we simply have to win tomorrow as i fear we'll get a right hiding at Stoke on wednesday and will be right in the clarts by next weekend. -
Which is where? He's been CM, RB and LB.
-
And Arsenal in the 4-4 game.

I thought he was one of our better players last night, looked lively, showed for the ball and grafted. -
This. I can understand if it was PL game and he's not used to the pace and power etc. But it was a Europa Game against piss poor opposition who gave hime a lot more time and space yet he was largely anonymous.
-
No. why not? Shola out Xisco out HBA out Cisse very doubtful. Campbell out Who else is there?
-
Due to our injury situation Pardew simply has to swallow his pride and get Ranger back into the first team squad.
-
He wasn't atrocious, he was neat and tidy but not involved enough and more importantly bottled out of more 50:50's and challenges than any player since Kevin Brock.

Shola's injured and Pards has already said he won't make sunday but Cisse has a chance. I'm not kidding here when i say that Pardew must now swallow his pride and include Nile Ranger in the first team squad.
