Agreed. Plus when it's held in the third world you have the added bonus of hosts embarrassing themselves horrifically during it. On the pitch you mean? Cause I've been to World Cups in Asia, Europe and South America and have thought them all to be very good tournaments from a fans perspective off the pitch. No doubt in my mind this one will be as good as the others off the pitch.

WC is always going to be criticized unless it's in Western Europe. Same in Brazil, South Africa etc. Don't worry, the WC in Brazil was great and so will the one in Russia be.
