  1. Nah. No way. Nah. He'll be there. 3 months for that type of injury is pushing it. Mostly so he can relax until the World Cup, unless PSG goes through in the CL.
  2. Neymars World Cup could be in jeopardy. Apparently the fifth metatarsal crack was actually a fracture and he's bound to miss at least 2 months and could even be 3 months.
  3. What? Casemiro is one of the best defensive midfielders out there. He's not technically great, but great at cleaning up infront of the back four also has a decent shot on him which is useful whenever he does move up the pitch.
  4. Neymar stretchered off. Seemed to sprain his ankle quite badly. Probably a big doubt for the return leg against Real now.
  5. Ref bottled that. Yellow only. That's as close to a legbreaker it gets.
  6. Wow. Ocampos, what a horrible challenge. Must be off.
  7. MBappé makes it 1-0 v Thauvins team.
  8. Really? I think it was too close to call in real-time and the replay showed it was probably onside. The lino has to give the attacker the benefit of the doubt there, for me. Yeah was onside from the replay.
  9. Just seen Suarez trying to get a yellow card to miss the next league match yesterday. Referee refused to give him one as well, which was quite funny.
  10. I feel like that was a perfect tackle by Morata.
  11. Been there? Heard so much good about Russia (or at least Moscow and St Petersburg), or is this just some ignorant opinion based on what you've read online? Russia is an abhorrent country that does horrible things to its people. It’s also the worst possible spot for an international sporting event given its well recorded history of state-sponsored cheating. If you can ignore all of that I suppose it might be a nice tourist spot, but I have no interest in it whatsoever. I don't disagree, but feels like double standards. Not gonna litter this thread into a political thread however. As a sporting event I think it will be great, especially since their state-sponsored cheating won't mean anything in this sport. You did see the draw, right? I did. Every World Cup there's a few weak groups. Let's be honest, the real reason you're not interested is because you think South Korea will come out of this with 0 points. I think you've guys got an ok chance of going through to the next round. Both Sweden and Mexico are underwhelming teams, they're good, but nothing special. The most corrupt rich country in the world walked into a draw organized by the most corrupt organization in the world and walked away with the weakest group in modern World Cup history. How confident are you that nothing shady happened? These guys made Donald Trump President man, you think they can't mess with some ping pong balls in a draw being held in the goddamn Kremlin? #infowars I'd pipe down a bit given that anyone with half a brain knows the Russian government is regularly sabotaging international organisations and assassinate any Russian they happen to disagree with. Despicable government.
  12. Streets of Seoul after their win against Portugal in the group stages to advance in 2002 was something else. Memory for life.
  13. Barcelona playing Dembele, Coutinho, Messi and Suarez all together for the first time. Will be interesting to see. Neither Dembele nor Coutinho have had a great performance yet. Paulinho rightfully benched after his horrible performance midweek.

  18. Agreed. Plus when it's held in the third world you have the added bonus of hosts embarrassing themselves horrifically during it. On the pitch you mean? Cause I've been to World Cups in Asia, Europe and South America and have thought them all to be very good tournaments from a fans perspective off the pitch. No doubt in my mind this one will be as good as the others off the pitch.
  19. WC is always going to be criticized unless it's in Western Europe. Same in Brazil, South Africa etc. Don't worry, the WC in Brazil was great and so will the one in Russia be.
