  1. You're probably right. He fits the narcissistic prick profile who always needs to be number 1. 3-4 years not being the one and never having problem not being the one proves the contrary. He's at his peak and at some point he needs to make a move if he really has the ambition to be the best in the world otherwise Messi is going to be ahead of him until he is pst his peak as Messi isn't human and will probably play on for another 5 years at the highest level. No matter what he does and where he plays, he'll never surpass Messi (or Ronaldo) in the best player stakes. Yes there might come a time when both Messi and Ronaldo are on the wane or retired, and he might be the top player in the world for a year or two, but that's about it. I could totally understand him moving for a new challenge, but even if he stays and plays second fiddle, it's not as if he won't be getting picked for Brazil man. Even if he's on the bench at Barca, he'll still be leading Brazil out at the world cup there's no doubt about that. It's very difficult to gauge a player's ambition when they've already won what he's won, and have had the success he's had. Only Neymar himself knows what he really wants, and we can only speculate based on what we see from the outside. Oh absolutely, agree, what I'm saying is that in Brazil the general opinion is that the best way for him to prepare for the WC and his role at it is by being the main guy week in week out. He's still a bit inconsistent with Barcelona and for me his best football has come when Messi has been out injured. He's at his best when he can attack the fullback for 90minutes something he doesn't really do at Barcelona. He's a completely different player for the national team and he's much more entertaining for the national team.

  3. Again, very naive to suggests it's only about the money. I hope he leaves, just like 75% of the Brazilians who voted on a online poll. Why? Because it's the World Cup next year and he needs to lead a team week in week out as preparation for it and stop playing second/third fiddle as he's the star of the national team. Of course it's about the money Don't buy this being the main man for a second. Even if it was true, what a f***ing fanny he'd be for thinking like that. Ridiculous comment. Because if he stays at Barcelona and win tons at the end of his career it's all going to be because of him having played with Messi. I don't get it. Players never win, if they win everything with one team it's not good enough as they only made part of a system and didn't have the balls to move. If they move it's because of money. Let's be honest, the biggest argument against Messi when comparing to Ronaldo is the fact that he has only had success for Barcelona and not his national team and therefore has only been successful because of a system. I'm not saying that at all or even suggesting you said it, but there is clearly always going to be points made for both sides. Obviously money plays a huge role when players make decisions, but to say it's only about the money in this situation isnridiculous considerinng he's 25 and already the third richest player in the world and at this rate wilö end his career as the richest.

  5. Scored a very nice goal.
  6. Yeah, but none of them were in a similar position. PSG isnt exactly Anzhi or a chinese club as Baba put it.
  7. Yes what's so funny? Ridiuclous to believe it's all about the money. Like Baba, Mole, HTT (partly) and I've said, there's far more things than only money. Hed be going to be the star of one of the best squads in the world or are you suggesting players like Cavani, Di maria, Verratti, Dani Alves, Motta, Thiago Silva aren't players of the highest quality?
  8. It's really this simple.
  9. There are three better players in the world. Two of them plays at the same club as him right now. That didn't make sense at all. He is a player that can put them into challenging seriously. Lets not forget PSG have done better than PL clubs last few seasons. So what is your point exactly? At this moment in time, yes - but that can and will change. My point was that you should aspire to play alongside the best players in the world, not throw a paddy because you're not the best superstar in your team. I didn't say he should move to the PL, so not sure what you're talking about there. But it's a silly comparison anyway, the four PL teams don't earn a bye into the Champions League in the first place, they play in a competitive league to get in there as is noted by the fact that at least two of our 'elite' clubs miss out. You'll defend Neymar until the sun goes down as he is your national treasure, I understand that. But it doesn't change the fact that his move is entirely motivated by greed. Sure I don't agree whatsoever and has nothing to do with it being Neymar. Would be the same if it was Suarez or whomever in that situation.

  11. Could work both ways. Grew up dreaming playing Huddersfield and Brighton on monday nights.
  12. ? If the reasons I laid out aren't sufficient for you to believe it's not all about money then you are just being stubborn. Lets not forget that without Neymar, PSG would've beaten Barcelona in the CL. The league standard is obviously poorer, but the only move he could make from Barcelona in that case would be to the PL and clearly no one is willing to pay his release clause. Also don't forget he's 25 and the 3rd richest player in the world of football. He makes enough money already to become the richest of them all towards the end of his career. Hard to imagine this is all avout the money unless you mean wanting to go down as the most expensive player by far in history. Again, still don't see this happening.
  13. Agree but dont think many clubs have £200m to pay cash upfront to Barcelona.
  14. I'd buy Sanchez to replace him; let him go Sanchez has already played there and wasntt even close to as good as Neymar has been for them. Another player that needs to be on the ball more.
  15. Think that's very harsh. There are numerous of reasons why he would leave, one is obviously money but there are even footballing reasons if he did. It's World Cup year and he's at his peak now and he needs to learn how to be the star of a team week in week out. Lets be honest, his best games for Barcelona have come either when messi has been out injured or invisible. He's at his best when he's the focal point of the team and at Barcelona he clearly can't be that as Messi is a superior player. He could wait and develop more, but I don't see Messi playing second fiddle in at least 3-4 years so for that reason i think it might be a good move for him. That said, I think he will stay.
  16. Neymar - Cavani - Alexis would be too ridiculous. That front three has so much workrate and ability it's silly. Obviously, not on par with Messi and Suarez, but still ridiculous. Would absolutely run over the french league.
  17. Only reason why I'm actually thinking it might be a great thing for him to move from Barcelona. Him for the national team is twice the player he is for Barcelona and that says a lot about his standards for the national team.
  18. A way of trying to please Neymar I believe. They're extremely good friends apart from him obviously being a perfect player and who could hopefully replace Iniesta at some point.
  19. Been watching Man City v Man U for 15minutes now and Stones has already done two stupid things.
  20. Globo is saying that he is flattered by the idea and is considering a possible move according to close sources to him. Doesn't say he is joining, just that he's been flattered by the interest and the amount might be too much to say no. Apparently a monthly salary of €2.5m and a transfer fee of €222m. Also says Barcelona won't negotiate so if PSG really wants him they have to pay the full €222m.
  21. Wait what? What are they doing? Unless they believe he can play at LB that is a ridiculous transfer. Even more so considering how shite he was last season.
  22. Because Casemiro is there to break up play and just play it simple, which he is one of the worlds best at and much much better than Kovacic at. He doesn't need to dictate anything as Kroos and Modric does that.
  23. Certain in my team. Should be the most expensive based on his stats last season. Loses value for being a certified nonce though.
