I've thought Özil has been decent for two games tbf. Thought he was good against Palace and don't think he was very bad today. They do need to play more direct as Liverpool easily got into position today and could defend easily.

Gabriel is class man.

Really have high hopes for him. Just hope people don't write him off if he has an average 5-6 months. Got to remember some players take more time to adapt to this league.

Am I right to believe that the sub he made yesterday was a common feature at Twente, in regards to putting Tiote on in the 2nd half to protect the scoreline? I don't mind it, thought our midfield was all but dead in the last 15minutes and I see why he did it. Not cowardly at all in my opinion. Agreed with pretty much everything yesterday apart from starting Obertan.

Want to see Mbemba centrally with Taylor. Perez, Aarons and Thauvin behind Mitrovic as well.

I'm not sure about it, he doesn't have the vision to create as the number 10 imo. Prefer him further up of course, but think he did very very wall out on the left. As tactically disciplined as they come.

Today was far from one of Obertans worst performances imo. Made a few good interceptions/tackles and at least tried to use his pace on the counter. No doubt he is not good enough but was far from his worst today like. Is this a genuine opinion? He was absolutely horrible, his positioning defensively was crap and he just doesn't seem to care while also lacking a brain.

Disappointed to see Obertan, but glad he was subbed off before Ayoze at least.

He did control the ball well under pressure but then failed to play the easy ball too many times. He'll learn, and will be a handful. Well it's not much use holding the ball up if you don't find a team mate with the pass. I've no doubt he'll get better with more experience of the premier though. Well it's hard when no one makes a run to support him.

Looked extremely slow tbf Still loved that little dribble when he went at Shaw.

Niger de Jong isn't that bad really. In international football you can go a long way with 1 or 2 brilliant players. Robben was basically Holland's only attacking threat once Van Persie did his usual knockout stages disappearing act and they nearly got to the final I don't disagree. But you see a lot of "X is a Y international" as if that makes them good footballers for NUFC & PL by default on this forum. NDJ isn't that bad at all. However, 81 caps for Johnny Heitinga is unacceptable. The man played in the WC final right? That was some awful team. You are so very full of s***. There are thousands of people here, that spend pretty much every day arguing with one another. There is no default. I got a 24 hour ban for less. This is an abusive post with little provocation.
