  1. Iran drew to Shola ffs. That's great from an Asian side.
  2. In this tournament I think heat and end of season fatigue plays a big role.
  3. Their defense is dog s***. Blind hasn't had a good game either. I've said it all along, it was a one-off against Spain. They had two guys running it all for them in RvP and Robben, without them they're not much tbh. Only if those two perform at the highest level will they go really deep in this tournament.
  4. Well said HTT Zidane just had that something about him. He maybe wasn't close to the consistency of the other but he just had that extra spark when needed.
  5. Age. People get older and slower. Except Pirlo.
  6. Aye, but the whole rule is weird. How often do we see a deliberate handball and how often to we see a freekick called for a handball? I see far more free-kicks given than a deliberate handball tbh. In the end the ref is always right, especially Nishimura
  7. What was that Australian striker doing? Undeserved this.
  8. Never seen a defender put his arm behind the back in the box? Why do you think they do that? Because they look better doing it? What a fucking miss by Australia there.
  9. In my eyes that's a penalty. Then again, anything that hits the arm which isn't glued to the body is a handball for me. That's not the rule though. What's the rule? A defender is taught from early age to always glue the arm to your body in the box. I'm not sure how this handball rule is, but I agree with Mike there's argument for both sides. Just check La Liga two seasons ago when they gave a yellow card for any ball touching a hand. a free-kick or penalty will be awarded if a player "handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his own penalty area)" Ever tried running with your arms by your sides? It's an absurd notion. Like I said, there's been many changes to the rule and it used to be if the ball is handled by an unnatural arm-position. How often is there a deliberate handball in football? I've seen handballs get blown for far less. But yeah, if that's the rule it's no penalty but I also heard that it's up to a ref to make the decision
  10. Australia at least got a moment to cheer for, be happy for them.

  13. Austrlia been impressive these first 15 mins.
  14. yeah I dunno, maybe he loves her because she's the mother of his children and not a vapid airhead like the majority of footballer wives. WTF has this to do with this thread? Ridiculous, we're talking about her looks man. *actually realized it was cuba's post that was quoted so nvm. And she's quite clearly very attractive. No one said she was a goddess. IMO she isn't though. Deal with it Deucey.

  16. I think the most impressive player that game was that Montero dude for Ecuador, cause Lichensteiner all kinds of problems. Honda wasn't good either, he had a very good goal, but other than that I thought he was quiet on the pitch.
  17. Thought he had a poor game myself, but saved face with his last minute heroics.
  18. It's ridiculous, I'm not saying she's ugly or anything, but for a footballing wife she's definitely bang average. You walk around Stockholm and you saw her, you wouldn't turn your head to look twice. Although the Mexican chick. Holy fuck.
  19. http://i.imgur.com/gkeW22O.gif What in the actual fuck
  20. I fucking hate Ochoa. and Fred. and Paulinho. and Dani Alves. and Jo. and Hernanes.
  21. made £110 on this. Good now I can lay Brazil against Cameroon so I can make a £500 profit or something. Fucking bullshit.
  22. We weren't bad for 60-70 mins. But that 20min spell, do that against a better team and we're dead man. No way we can keep this. We need Fernandinho next to Luiz Gustavo not a unfit Paulinho or a fraud of a player in Hernanes.
  23. Drawing vs USA Jr. No way Mexico under Herrera would lose to the shower of shit I watched last night, no fucking way.
