That's lovely defending Why Anita doesn't step up before is beyond me.

Great save from De Gea.
-
Looked like he slipped tbf to him. Lost his footing and crashed onto him.

That he's not the best striker around? We all know that, he's worth more to a smaller team than he is to Chelsea. He just doesn't have that ability on the ball to fit into a very good CL side. drogba didn't have a great ability on the ball when mourinho persuaded him to sign for chelsea. Load of shit, he was excellent for that Marseille side and ruined us in the Uefa Cup semi-final. That he's not the best striker around? We all know that, he's worth more to a smaller team than he is to Chelsea. He just doesn't have that ability on the ball to fit into a very good CL side. He's also just 20 years old. You sure about that? He was born in Belgium, not Africa, Flip you racist. You sure about that?

And rightly so, if it works and the system allows it, I don't see what's wrong? Obviously the whole system needs to be revised because it's quite bullshit, but you really can't blame them for taking advantage. They work like private equity sometimes.

As if Chelsea cares about anything like that, he's there to win titles, he'll do what he feels is the best for his team. What you think is right or wrong is neither here or there tbf. Well I'm nothing if I ain't got my opinions. I don't doubt that it would work out for Chelsea in the long-run. All I'm saying is stuff like this makes me dislike modern football. It's a bit 'immoral' imo. That's absolutely fair, but can't blame Chelsea for it, got to blame the whole system.

f***ing everything, if you've got a Lukaku waiting in the wings. Obviously, the striker Chelsea are gonna spend gazillions on this summer is a better example in this context than Negredo. So if they sell Lukaku for £20m and buy Diego Costa for £30m you're going to think they've done a bad job?

He just doesn't have that ability on the ball to fit into a very good CL side. He'd score s***-loads for Chelsea and is still very young. It's ridiculous how these teams have to have strikers who've been cherry-picked from the scoring charts for tens of millions of pounds, instead of the young ones who've developed. Young players are f***ing stupid to join the likes of them when they know they're just gonna throw bucketliads at another Torres/Eto'o/Negredo/whoever. What's wrong with throwing bucket loads on Negredo? He's an excellent player. Look I would easily be happy to see us spend £20m on Lukaku, but I do think he's extremely overrated on here and there's a reason to why Benteke is the number one striker for the Belgian national team. I also agree with your sentiment, but only reason I can see them doing this for is that they are a WIN now team and Lukaku isn't in that mould yet.

We all want him to have the ball the most, but they were definitely not ignoring him just because every pass didn't go to the right side. He made a nice little cameo, has to start tonight. He's not fit enough to start; that's the crux of most if this. He should be. If he does start he'll be far less effective than coming on with 20 to go. Bringing him on with 20 minutes or less left is part of the problem though, it leads to him forcing the game too much, rather than having time to work his way into the game. If he doesn't start he should be brought on with 30 minutes or more remaining like he was against Palace, even better just do it at half time.. Or just start him and don't force him to play RB counter-produce what they'll be doing. If we play Ben Arfa further up on the right, Baines will be forced to stay back a bit. Unfortunately our coward of a manager doesn't look it that way, he'll be playing Sissoko to defend Baines at home...
-
Is he back for tonight?
-
Would love to see him get 200 league games for the club. Needs to stay until January in that case.
-
I think that's more down to having terrible ball-spreaders on the pitch. Our best player in the sense is Anita and we've all seen he's not great at opening the game up that way. He like to play it safer with short passes and changing sides easily. I like Anita, but he's no creative midfielder and if a creative midfielder, striker and CB aren't bought for next season we're absolutely screwed.

People scared it won't be ready for the World Cup? How about 27th of April when Corinthians is supposed to have home opener in the league against Flamengo? Think it will be ready late May, we'll see some delay from FIFA I'd be sure. It's well behind but as you can see the roof on one side is only being held by one crane now and as soon as that one is gone they can just do the finishing touch. Imagine it all coming crashing down?
-
That he should. Read a lot of places that the two most obvious penalties was one on Bale and one on Neymar in the first half, but I'm 100% sure that the one on Neymar someone got the ball first, right?
-
Aye but that shouldn't have any bearing on the decision. 98% of players fake injury these days. Stonewall penalty. The only penalty that wasn't a pen was Ronaldos, so it baffles me how people though the ref was pro Barca. FWIW I think Ramos slightly clipped Neymar as well. Again, he overreacted, but it's still a pen and you'd have to say it was a clear goalscoring opportunity so the red was justified as well. All of them exaggerated, but for me they're all penalties. Whatever people think, it was a great results for everyone except Real fans
-
Earlier in the game when Bale was breaking away, he taps it around Busquets and gets blocked off by him yet no freekick given? Ref wasn't consistent the whole game, was terrible Played advantage bruv
-
We lost the one before this It's neesy man. He doesn't even know what month it is.
-
So if you decide by the way he's in the dressing room whether he's having a good game or not, and he looked fired up on Saturday, why didn't he start then? Fuck off John Carver. Much more likeable under Sir Bobby no wonder Bellamy wanted to beat the fuck out of him.
-
It was definitely the most exiciting El Clasico in recent years. The rules need to change though, hate the red card + penalty. Only agree with it if it's basically a goal and someone stops with their hands.
