Our best player with Ben Arfa, fuck you on about?
-
Not first time though.
-
He's shown the sum total of f*** all so far anyway. An absolute liability when defending in the box.
-
Starting Jonas on the left was the winning decision today.
-
Cisse, Taylor, Tiote, Jonas and Debuch are absolute horse shit. Siss and Ben Arfa having to do it all. We'll lose by 5 more like this.
-
We're Levante tonight aren't we?

Fuck it. We're winning this. 2-0. Benny x2. We're playing CL next season. Pardew is king. Called it before. -

Someone shoot me. -
I think it's derisory in today's market tbf although I absolutely agree with your sentiment. Baines is worth £20m in todays market, but 5 years ago and he would be worth half of that maximum.
-
Neither Dembele or Paulinho are DMs...
-
my feeling too.
-
Surely Fellaini would be a better option beside Carrick than anyone else you have atm No way Fellaini is a midfielder, he has no tackling ability, doesn't move around to well and can't pass a ball. He's the new Tim Cahill.
-
I agree about the Fellaini sentiment, but I do think Baines offers much more than Evra offensively and has 4-5 years of football in him left. Obviously I'd think getting a new CB should be a priority, something like splashing the cash on someone like Hummels (who I think is realistically the best defender you could sign) or surprising everyone and going for Thiago Silva.

That's always been his main asset tbf. Very intelligent player when looking for space. Spurs looked extremely flat, very much like last year. Still think they haven't replaced Modric effectively and their attacking play has a noticeable lack of guile, I personally don't rate Dembele much and Paulinho isn't that kind of player either. Haven't seen enough of Holtby, though. Although I do rate Dembele. From what I saw yesterday it's quite obvious that Spurs are sitll very much dependant on Bale or a new very good winger. If they brought in Willian and kept Bale I'd think they'd might be the surprise package of the season and finish top 3 possibly. They have a very solid defence. Rose, Walker are very athletic and make up for what they lack in other areas. Dawson, Vertonghen, Kaboul, Capoue can all play CB well, Lloris is a very good goalie. They then have a defensive midfield of Paulinho, Dembele, Sandro, Capoue. So basically they need wingers. Neither Lennon or Chadli are for me anywhere close to CL players. Lloris Walker Dawson Vertonghen Rose Sandro/Capoue Paulinho Dembele Willian Bale Soldado Would definitely work for them. Willian and Bale are so fluid in their game style they wouldn't really have fixed positions and that midfield is so full athleticisim and ability I don't see many teams dominating them.

I don't know if I should be happy or sad that I might miss this match. Might spend the day at the hospital instead, might be a blessing in disguise... -
Two different players, one is a goalscorer, the other is a second striker. Jo was Libertadores top scorer, and has scored like 3 in 6 or so for national team lately. I don't like Jo, but you can't take anything away from him at the moment, been playing very very well.
-
I don't think anyone looked great today. Chadli looked very very average, Paulinho was used wrong and Capoue who did look like a very good player didn't really play much. Add Soldado being quite invisible during the game to that. Coentrao would for me be a bit of an overkill. Willian on the other hand would seem like a great signing. I really really rate Danny Rose.

39 goal attempts to 1 goal attempt tbf..
-
Paris been so unlucky. Thiago Silva has been denied by the crossbar twice and a super save once.
-
Are they looking as un-balanced as they did last week? They had no width at all last weekend. They are.
-
Not surprised at all, i was shocked by how many people were picking him for FF he was never going to start. I'm not that surprised by Mata either, been rumours of him being sold all Summer and its pretty obvious Hazard is Jose's guy. Oscar and Mata will be rotated most of the season i would bet with De Bruyne and Schurrle on the right hand side. Mata isn't playing because he's been carrying a knock.
-
Cech; Ivan, Cahill, JT ©, Cole; Ram, Lamps; De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard; Torres.
-
He looks nowhere near as technical as Taarabt tbf.
-
Well now we know you don't have high expectations from players as well as being unable to differentiate fast and slow.
