Agreed. Never understood wanting to keep him around simply because he's been their most successful manager. If the guy's not winning anymore, cut him loose. They sold all the generation that was meant to take them up to the top but he had still been developing brilliant talent. He's not really the problem, lack of investment is. First time I agree with this miserable guy.

Woah woah woah there. He was alright at best. Usual comical yellow card, some loose passes, still got a long way to go until he gets back to last season. EDIT: There's a possibility of extreme sarcasm which I've missed here tbf. Aye, if there is no sarcasm I must have watched another game. For me he was a 6,5 tops.

Was that your opinion last season as well? My opinion last season was that while the results were brilliant, there was a clear lack in style to our play, and that individual brilliance carried us through certain games. We finished 5th last season, I gave pardew his due for that, despite what I felt about the way we played. However that does not make him immune for criticism this season. Its frankly ridiculous to let one great season then dictate that you can't criticise a manager for how awful we've been this season. It's fairly plain for everyone to see. You take the praise expect the criticism too. Totally agree with you there Santoon Cheers The thing is, I really don't like having a pop at managers. I've only ever done it with Allardyce and Pardew. But I feel we are at a very important time in the clubs history, we could go forward from here to have a squad capable of challenging for something. And I want that to happen, like we all do, but I feel we need a new manager to do this Me and I think it was Mick argued this last year around the same time of the year. It's hard on Pardew to say that individual brilliance made us finish fifth, but in a way it did. You can see that he doesn't get any results without the players, and when we were in a terrible run last year we only really changed the curve whenever Cisse came and started smashing in goals. I like Pardew as personality and his passion on the sidelines, but his abilities as a football manager aren't that good tbf. He doesn't have an idea of how his team wants to play and attack.

Comforting to know he can play that position too. Did well.

Can't believe Lazio had three penalties against them.
-
Not fair to call them shit, they themselves had a couple of good chances. Going to Kharkiv won't be easy and I don't think we will win it, at the same time we won't lose. So 1-1 draw.

The only time he's not offside the goalie saves. Poor lad. Confidence can't be high, luckily for him, Shola is next in line, so he has no pressure.

FUCKING HELL? What is this shit?

Sometimes you're pathetic man. What do you expect?

Such a great player. Really like him as a player and still at 34 he's got it.

Sir Alex is so old man you just have to take everything he says with a pinch of salt.

Don't agree. He's a decent defender, but he's not an excellent defender in my mind. As an example, I wouldn't have him at our club... Why? He's only going to get better and he's a legitimately solid defender. Because nothing in my eyes suggest he's going to become a top top defender. In my eyes he's nothing more than a mid-table team central defender, which I realize doesn't sound quite right as he is playing for the number one team in England. I think the fact that they have conceded the most out of the top team somehow backs my argument, although it's not based on stats and purely on opinion. Because he's not easy on the eye and called Jonny Evans don't mean he isn't a very good defender.... can't believe i'm defending Man Yoo they have some very good players who don't get anywhere near enough credit. The way people talk you would think Carrick, Cleverly, Welbeck, Jones and Evans are complete s****. Was absolute gobsmacked with the amount of people who felt Madrid would steamroll through them, they are a very good team ( key word being team) and know how to win at this stage. You don't win as many games as they do by just being lucky and carrying average players along. Wow, way to draw a conclusion from absolutely nothing. If anything I was defending Man U at the weekend and quite like their team. I find Carrick a very good players and the same goes for Welbeck, I really don't rate Evans as a top defender in our league, on the individual level I don't find anything about him excellent.

PhD in misery tbh.

De Gea was class today. Thought he'd be complete wank as usual when I see Man U, but seemed very good.

Oh, alright. How about the rest of the posts you make? They seem as if they don't upset too many on here. You're welcome to ignore as much as you like. I'm just messing with you man

Where did that post come from? Who is that directed towards? Hard to find any relevance to the discussion from that post. page 559 . I probably should stop posting for a while , it seems that we're in the reign of Gestapo now. Sorry about that, thought it was in response to my post first. And in any case I don't agree with your non-sense. Comparing HBA to Michu and at the same time saying you don't need a tall strong player upfront which is exactly what Michu is. Also Michu has always played centrally and scored loads of goals, something Ben Arfa hasn't. I'd be more than happy to try it if Cisse got injured, but that's more down to the fact that even a peanut is better than Shola upfront, and I mean literally a PEANUT.

I find it a red, you have to remember it's a bit like Tiote's red. I don't like those studs up there, ref had already blown the whistle and he raised his studs pretty high up tbf.
