I remember thinking that about Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho at his peak was the most exciting stuff ever. But Messi is no fucking Brazilian, so he is focused on being the best instead of being satisfied like Ronaldinho was. Ronaldinho pisses me off for wasting that talent.

And also Barca are on track to score more this season than last, so your last part is irrelevant. Messi is incredible, win a world cup and prove you can win outside your comfort zone with Xavi, Dani Alves, Iniesta and Cesc providing you with tons of assists and we will discuss it. What makes him so good? I question his tactics all the time, I feel like results have been falling our way when we havent deserved since the City loss. I have and will state it again think that he has the same problem as SvenGöranEriksson. He has no ability in changing the game for good. I mean, every tactical change he makes puts more pressure on us and we fall back. Either he doesnt trust his player or he hates the beauty of the sport. Because in no way should we let teams control the game after playing so well like we did against Villa up till the goal, against Fulham until 2nd half also Norwich at the weekend in the first half.

Except the Arsenal game, Ive had the perceptions hes a f***ing joke of a footballer. All season hes looked scared of the ball, playing terrible balls. Did it today once or twice but in the end he had Cabaye, Ba, Ben Arfa and Guthrie helping him out meaning he didnt have to touch the ball more than once. Awful technically but the way he destroyed their game the whole time has given me hope of him being a decent backup as a holding midfielder to Cheick. So impressed by him today. Disagree massively with the bits in bold. Please, elaborate why. My perception of him is one thing, would be interesting to know why you disagree. Possibly we have a different opinion on football or my personal feelings towards him clouds my judgement completely. I take Stoke game as an obvious example why I dont like (actually didnt like) him as a footballer, he came on running around everytime he got the ball he was clueless what to do with it and deserved to be sent off for an awful tackle. Even today Pardew was telling him to calm down a bit, lunges far to much into tackles and I think the reason he was so so good today was that he was rarely under pressure so could easily play the ball.

I would agree with this, except swap Guthrie and Cabaye's ratings. Wouldnt necessarily swap but both deserved 6s.
