Well weird to suggest years and wges and length of contract. Something is happening!!

FIFA are bunch of wankers and all football fedeations too. The Brazilian Federation CBF and FIFA will make money on the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, while Brazil will need until 2030 to pay for the World Cup. Funny how one pays and the other gains.

Looking forward to December if Neymar and Ganso stays. If they can win the Libertadores they will show Europe and especially Barcelona big time football.

Well? They have done really well if Cabaye joins, and will have been magical if they manage to persuade Gervinho too. What adjective would you use if we had gotten all three? non-existant.

Come on Gash, are you for real now? Good player no doubt, but there's a reason why none of the top teams went for him and also he's not bette than Barton.

They guy sent off was a sub who hadn't come on yet so it is still 11 v 11 on the field. Alright. There we go. TY for the update.

Hows the playoff match? Just turned it on, see Reading has a man less and has still scored twice in this second half.

Honestly, who can tell? I just ranted about this: http://www.newcastleunited.us/2011/05/cabaye-closes-in-as-barton-smolders-gervinho-next.html I have a hard time interpreting what he means with that. Surely he can't be negative towards signing and really means that we need to spend in order to build a team since 4-5 individuals cannot win trophies and they need signings like Cabaye to win trophies.

Good player, but nothing special really.Would've had him here as a backup, but looks like we're going for 4-3-3 and he wouldn't fit in that system.

How in the wold you blame Mourinho (or Madrid) when Dani Alves held his shin (as if it was broken in two) when there was no contact from Pepe or when Busquet held his face when the contact was on his shoulder I will never understand. Leap of logic if there ever was one. Sure Mourinho's plays aggressive football against Barcelona and that may contribute to ugly football. You can even argue that the aggressive tactics result in a few diving here and there (for both sides). But there is absolutely no connection between the tactics employed by Mourinho and what Barcelona did on that shameful night i.e. play acting, feigning injury and crowding the referee to get a player sent off. Now I agree that Barcelona can play beautiful clean football (and perhaps they do most of the times) which only begs the question why Barcelona chose to do what they did against Madrid. Could it be because they were finding it difficult to play their usual game and penetrate Madrid's defence when it was 11 vs 11? I don't know. But to blame Mourinho (Madrid) for Barcelona's play acting is ridiculous. There was contact. Dani Alves had big bruise on his shin mate. The youtube video showed that there was absolutely no contact. I'll PM you the link if it is allowed. Out of curiosity, how do you know there was a big bruise? You were the doctor who examined his shin in the brief 10 seconds he was on the stretcher? Yes I was, probleme monsieur? Or maybe I saw pictures in a swedish newspaper the day after showing the shin.

He would have played about ten minutes before getting sent off They played with 9 man all match anyways with Giggs and Carrick watching them play. He would've done more in 10 minutes of play

Brilliant player, awful tackler. Should've started in the weekend.

Aye, great stuff.

What the hell, I was arguing about tactics and how to beat Barcelona. Never mentioned anything about Mourinho being the best, you're can't stop bumming Pep can you. Regarding the 1-1, yes perhaps Barcelona took it easy, perhaps so did Madrid coz they had given up hope by then (Mourinho said after the first leg, that they're out already). I took the result for what it was. You're licking Mourinhos 'blueprint' arse. How very matured, I take it you can't refute my argument then I don't know what to say though, you're completely right. I wonder whether the managers of Hercules and Real Sociedad who beat Barcelona with players not half as good as Barcelonas or Reals resorted to this 'blueprint' tactics.

Aye, Iniesta is more lovable though. That pale spanish guy.

Pardew has said he sees Ben Arfa as a #10 just behind the striker though. I think it'll be the 4-3-3 formation Pardew's planning us for though. Gervinho definitely fits that. But I imagine it would be Ben Arfa in the centre ahead of Tiote and Cabaye with Gervinho and Jonas (or N'Zogbia) on the wings. Probably not, probably going to be a la Chelsea 4-3-3. Tiote behind Cabaye/Barton and Nolan/Emana and then Ben Arfa and the other winger behind the striker.
-
Aye, Man Utd weren't complete cunts yesterday though tbh. Man Utd tried to go out there and play, but unfortunately, Barcelona on a good day are impossible to beat.

alpal78. You take everything into account that would benefit your argument. How about the 1-1 draw in the 2nd CL tie when Barcelona turned couple of notches down and just tried to play the game out. Had they kept giving their all maybe they would've won. Fact is Mourinho is not the best manager in the world right now, Pep is Stop licking Mourinho arse ffs.
