I want that Cisse one on a canvas for my living room!!!
-
But Suarez does that every week!!! Then falls over or hits the post.

Exactly. The reason we don't hear about it is that theres nothing much worth wrecking, and nobody gives a flying fuck about that depressing shithole. Its like a black hole for media coverage as the place doesn't interest people.

I was in the mackem end at the SOS for the Dabizas derby game. Went down on the Berwick Sunderland supporters bus, me and my mate trying to hide who we supported all the way there and back. It was a mackem mate who got us the tickets. Anyway, we went to the pub after the match and mackems were wrecking the whole place. Throwing bricks through pup windows and at lines of police. Some old guy got smacked in the puss by a stone an had a heart attack. The police charged when we were outside a pub and we had to bolt and shelter in some chippy. They were without doubt, wrecking their town.

Really worried about the defence, but think we should be able to do something at the other end. But basically I don't have a fuckin clue whats going to happen.

Brilliant player. Love that he plays for us. One of the best individual performance I can remember in recent years for us. "He just goes through them like they aren't there" - Loved that piece of commentary. ha.

So frustrating the lack of movement when we have the ball. It's hardly a wonder we can't keep the ball.

He's good in the air but pretty poor at everything else.

Commercial revenue is way down on what it was when the takeover happened, as is matchday revenue. The TV deal is far higher than it was and our turnover has barely moved. I'm sure there was a quote when the stadium was being renamed from Llambais saying that the club has maximised its commercial revenue from current streams so needed to look for new ways to general money, like stadium renaming. Well that's quite obviously nonsense. I'm not saying they have done a bad job on the financial side of things overall, but we can do far better. Making the stadium look so cheap and tacky and packing the shop full of poor quality tat will hardly help the issue either. Our turnover is lower than Aston Villas. Now that we are breaking even, they really need to build the commercial side of the business, and that doesn't mean by following their current track.

As I expected.

Not sure why wages on new players are counted, but the wages of old players leaving arn't. Results are promising however, but the overall turnover doesn't seem that great considering what it was when Ashley arrived. Lower than Villa's.

They've got a thread complaining about the cheesy chips abuse now! Haha
-
Love their 100 Reasons to Hate Newcastle United thread. Especially this one: I had a childhood of being bombarded by people at school telling me how crap my club was and even when we beat them getting abuse....

Love how so many mackems are proud of what their players have done at previous clubs. jsdftm04 on SMB' siggy for example reads: Wesley Brown: Premier League (5), FA Cup (2), Football League Cup (3), FA Community Shield (4), UEFA Champions League (2). Seriously, who gives a fuck about past achievements of their players? When Geremi was putting in one of the most pathetic performances ive ever seen in a toon shirt at Scunthorpe, I wasn't standing their beaming with pride at having him because he'd won the Champions League. Nicky Butt as well, won the Champions League but was shite! haha. Mackems man!

Can't believe he made a double substitution as we defended a free-kick. Madness.

You really think another brand are going to buy the naming rights? The reaction to the whole Sports Direct Arena thing has been nearly all bad. Personally I don't think they have ever intended selling the naming rights, its just an excuse to get the Sports Direct branding in. Say Panasonic come in in the summer and buy the naming rights, do people really think all the Sports Direct branding and advertising comes down on the Gallowgate roof, the East Stand, all the advertising banners in the ground, those big advertising boards on the back of the stands, and the big banner on the pitch, all to be replaced by Panasonic or another brand? I don't think so somehow. Rightly or wrongly, the whole stunt is to promote Sports Direct in my opinion.

You could think Ashley is doing a brilliant job, but still hate the idea of the stadium being renamed. I think people are clever enough to hold different opinions on different issues. Just because people are upset at the stadium renaming doesnt mean the pitchforks are coming out and hits are being sorted for Ashley and Llambais.

And such a docile attitude plays right into the hands of the c***s running United. Yeah, let's go back to the Shepherd era and welcome overpaid mercenaries Ashley takes emotion out of the decision making process. It's a results business and MA is producing where it matters He has previous when he floated SD he was hounded as the share price plummeted. Look at him now, he's been in the news this week for completely turning it around Nothing like an over-reaction.

Motherwell? I've been to plenty games and never experienced bigotry. Ive been to one as we were in Glasgow before a flight to Zante. Went to stadium, asked a steward where the ticket office was and was told it was a sell out so go home. Think the English accents did it. Went to the actual ticket office and bought 10 tickets for us. When we got into the ground we were forced from our seats, probably being suspected of being English Rangers fans. Was hardly worth arguing when the fans around us weren't in the slightest bit arsed. Never had anything like it in England going to any game as a neutral. Loads of bigotry was being spouted all game. Might have been because they were playing one of the old firm and brought out the local idiots though. Sorry to hear about that mate. You should (maybe late now mind) send them an email. The stand I'm ocassionally in is pretty tame, you may have been sat near the 'ultras' () who assemble in the corner beside the away fans and are pretty horrific. Games against the old firm always bring out the idiots though. Aye, got an apology from the SPL as we complained to them and Motherwell. Didn't get anything from Motherwell though. Wasn't so much the behaviour of the fans we complained about, more the fact that we couldn't sit in our seats and the treatment from club officials just because of our accent really.
