http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php?action=post;topic=62360.9210;num_replies=9229 Silly bitch hasn't got a clue Can't even get the wage bill near the truth for fuck sake

The club own the players registration, the money is paid to Newcastle United.

Because he never has before and doing so would only make the final sale price less anyway so he gains nothing by doing so. The better answer was 'because thats embezzlement and against the law'. Surely he could get around that though if he really wanted? Maybe pay off part of his loan to the club with club money. Like I said I don't see much point in it though. He could do but thats not him profiting really. I agree, I said that in my post

Well it's about fucking time we call the cunts bluff! Spend nothing until he has to accept any offer he gets. Got to a point now where we can't damage the club anymore than he has, so hit him in the pocket. But none of the money we put into the club goes into his pocket. All it will achieve is to hurt the club even more financially and make it even harder to sell. Think it will make him sell it at a more realistic price tbh. The lack of that income will mean he'll have to dig into his own pocket to cover the cost of running the club. He'll either get shot to whatever is the highest bid or take us into administration, at this point administartion looks more attractive than having him still at the helm. Administration would probably be better for us then Ashley staying, but I don't see that ever happening since its bad for Ashley. I'm also unsure what he'd do if fans stopped putting money in to force him out. He'd probably then face even lesser offers for the club due to a worse financial situation, would his stuborness allow him to accept on of them?

Lovenkrands pace really put the shits up WBA that day, and now both him and Martins are gone, I wouldn't expect us to be anything like as effective on the break this time round. Looking at that team, the cold hard reality is that there is no goals in it. Kevin Nolan up front FFS. A low scoring draw is the best we can hope for IMO. Lovenkrands had a good game, as did Fortune for them.

Hopefully playing West Brom will bring back good memories for our players and raise their morale. We didn't beat many (any other?) teams twice last year so if there's any side we'd have good memories of playing its West Brom. Can't believe this is on BBC HD as well, fucking class! I knew it was worth getting that SkyHD box even without any intention of getting an HD subscription
-
Not assuming he's shit, just don't see any reason to assume he's an improvement.
-
We've lost one player (Lovenkrands) from the side that beat West Brom 3:2 at their ground last year. West Brom have lost a good manager and their player of the year, the same player who scored the two goals against us in that game (Fortune). Unless we lose many more players before Saturday there's no reason to believe they'll demolish us.

thomo is convinced the answer lies in that picture above e: on the previous page that is Nothings changed on the Dubai story. Thomo has also said Geremi, Beye and Bassong will be gone this week.
-
What the fuck am I missing with the thread title? EDIT: Ah camouflage.
-
There wouldn't need to be anything in it for the media to run with it, there was less then nothing in the Vialli thing and it got back page headlines in a few papers.
-
Exactly. Some absolute wankers in this thread. The lad is just trying to pass on some information and he seems he believes what he has been told. If it doesn't come off then fair enough. But no need for everyone to act like absolute pricks towards him. Anybody trying to pass a rumour on ALWAYS says it comes from someone else, or they would be the source, therefore either a player, representative or official (senior management), and the likelihood of them posting on an internet forum is slight at best I have more reason to disbelieve him than to believe him. What is more likely - Poster makes up a source (or has a source of chinese whisper variety) and spreads a rumour - Poster has links with senior management at top club who likes to share information to young internet posters and not national/local papers To be fair it has to be from someone else unless Thomo was either Mike Ashley, Derek Lambias, Keith Harris or the president of the UAE

About time for the papers to get a hold of it soon then
-
Yeah Geremi to Besiktas was definitely linked months ago. Lets hope its true that the move is now coming to an end and we'll be rid of the useless cunt soon.
-
Spell it the normal way, Besiktas. If you are sure the club will be sold tomorrow, why does your "ITK" tell you the things about Coloccini, Beye, Bassong and Geremi? If the club is sold, why do the old owners keep selling players?... Answer that one! At a guess because the new owners are already behind the players being sold recently and the ones we intend to sell in the future? Ok I'll stop playing devils advocate for a while, I'm just bored
-
Right but that doesn't say a thing about when it might happen or give anything more solid then the fact we want rid and Geremi wants to go. All I'm saying is the fact that the info he's giving isn't 100% out of the blue doesn't make it any less credible then it would be otherwise. I'm sure he could make up things we've never heard if he wanted too.
-
Thomo (not understanding the 3pm P.C joke) merely questioned if there was a press conference, not that anyone at his end has said there was going to be one, and that he'd ask when he could. Im not all that fussed about his inability to read threads and understand dry humour. I am questioning his passing on of ITK information that has been in the press! Where is it in the press that Geremi is off to Besiktas this week? There was something in the press a while ago linking Geremi to Besiktas, but that doesn't diminish his claim he'll be going this week? I just don't see why any news should have to be completely out of the blue to be credible.
-
Would be brilliant if we could offload Geremi and get Coloccini out on loan (assuming they're paying all his wages?). Another 6m a year off the wage bill.
-
The deals might not give us a large and instant cash injection but they'll still make a big difference. We'll owe less on players and have a guarentee of future revenue. Which makes the club more financially stable and so more attractive to prospective buyers. Of course removing them from the wage bill helps as well.
-
I'd much rather we could keep him tbh, but for his age and the fact he's only got one year left on his contract £4m would be pretty good business. Notwithstanding the fact it won't go into a replacement of course. Can't argue with the price but I was sorry to see Faye go last season when plenty thought that was good business. Turned out to be the most costly deal in 20 years. I thought £2m for Faye was a terrible deal from the start, he was a very solid Premier League defender with years left on his contract. Though I wasn't too upset about it at the time because we'd signed Bassong and Coloccini.

Notwithstanding the fact it won't go into a replacement of course. It'll still go into the club accounts though which should help the takeover situation and the sooner a new owner comes in the sooner we can look at replacements.
