Paranoid isn't the word, some of them are certifiable, honestly

He's been at Newcastle now for two years on nearly £2.5 million a year, that's over £7m by the time his contract runs out in 2010. He spent the 10 years previous to that at clubs like Paris Saint Germain and Marsaille were he'll have earned several million pounds at least. In short he's a multi millionaire!

Ashley lives in his own little dream world where we wouldn't have got relegated if good old Joe hadn't took ill. That's the real world mate, in Ashley's fantasy world Kinnear would have taken us to Europe.
-
So basically your just assuming he wants 200m for the club, why not just say that in the first place? Don't believe it personally.
-
He paid nearly 250m in total for the club. 134m for the club and over 100m to repay debts.
-
I'd celebrate if them fuckers handed in transfer requests. Well apart from Beye but I'd happily accept him leaving if it meant Barton, Duff, Smith and Butt all handing in requests and saving us 10m in 'loyalty' (yeah right..) bonuses. Hughton hasn't got the fucking brains to realise this though, he's actually letting these tossers off with stuff to try to stop them from saving us millions of pounds Couldn't give a shit about them sneaking out like, I just want rid on the cheap and any excuse is good enough IMO.

What I don't understand is why anyone thought it would be a good idea to hire T-Bag as a sports reporter?
-
lol, every time Yes, its unfunny nonesense every single time.
-
Not possible, we all know its common knowledge that Ashley will sell any player we get an offer for so he can rake money in from the club before selling it to an unsuspecting new owner Seriously though that's to be expected, they can't sell players while they're waiting for the club to be sold, players are assets after all. Who were the four payers by the way?
-
There's no set none disclosure agreement though, so we don't know the terms of the agreement they've signed. Only the things listed in the agreement cannot be talked about after all.
-
Its unfounded, not going to go into it again but you can just read the later pages of the "administration" thread. By the way we don't know what the overdraft is actually at. Its a 35 million pound overdraft facility, but that doesn't mean that its anywhere near fully utilised. In fact it shouldn't be anywhere near full as most, if not all of it, should be from last season and so should be paid off by last seasons Premier League revenue (I think last year it was paid down to 5 million by the time the end of year accounts came out). Wages will be paid by that overdraft yes (that's how it always works) and wages will be at about 4.5 million pounds per month (was at nearly 6 million per month before we let go of Owen and co). That doesn't mean however that we're going 4.5 million into debt every month as money will still come in to pay part of these wages, though certainly nowhere near enough to pay a full year of those kind of wages.
-
Do you really want either of Ashley or Llambias selling players though? They'll probably sell Beye, Bassong, Guthrie and Enrique and keep Smith, Barton, Butt ect. I'd much rather have a firm rule that nobody goes until new owners come in then let Ashley and co decide who goes and stays.
-
But how do several potential owners decide who should and shouldn't leave? Its the same issue with Shearer getting a contract, unless all potential buyers got together and decided yes we all want Shearer and yes we all want these players gone and these players in none of it can happen.
-
At least it ends such drivel as "Ashley will sell any player at the first opportunity to try to get extra money before leaving"
-
Not if transfer revenue is not released by SJH. It could be he is holding on till he gets all the revenue possible in and then letting go to the new owners who's welcome will be a nasty letter from Barclays. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. Why hang on if he has to keep finding from HIS OWN FUNDS the player wages?? He doesn't have to keep finding player wages from his own funds, like I said its paid for by an overdraft which is then paid off as revenue comes in (or in the case of last season by Ashley when there was no club money left to pay it). What I'm saying is that its a standard practice for a Football club due the the different way outgoings and incomings are paid/recieved. So its not going to be any suprise for any new owner. Also transfer revenue doesn't go to Ashley, its paid to the Football club and 99.9% of the time is paid over several years, so I don't see any way he could get his hands on that. I don't know why he's waiting, I'd guess because he's not happy with the money people are currently offering.
-
The wages will be paid from the overdraft, but that's nothing new or worrying. That's what its their for, to pay club running costs until revenue comes in to pay them, just the same as last season.
-
Why the fuck would Ashley want to help Shepherd? Wish people would think before posting sometimes.
-
Don't be fucking stupid
-
What the fuck is he on about?
-
Them Irish fuckers are small fry, surely they couldn't afford Newcastle even in our current state.
-
but then if he was still registered as ours he wouldn't be registered for man utd at the same time. They may have had to pay him up until the date the registration changed hands then. I am sure I read somewhere that clubs are required to pay players for a further month if they have not found a club. It is nothing to do with their contract but rather something to do with the FA or something like that. Not sure what happens if there is a big difference in sallary. I've never heard of this rule until now, it doesn't even make any sense either. A player can discuss moving to a new club well before his contract expires anyway, in my opinion its nonesense.
-
And some people want the person who sorted all these contracts out back in charge of the club. Jesus. Its a rule man, and not in his contract. There's no rule to say you continue to pay some part of a players wages when they leave the club. Sounds to me like yet another fantasy story from the sunday rags.
-
In general it sounds plausible, appart from the transfer fee bit. Surely the overdraft would include any outstanding fee's? What else is it there for if not to pay club expenses such as wages and fee's until revenue is brought in to pay it off?
-
But how did he fake the American's? Hire some random white blokes and put baseball caps on them?
