  1. Yes it's serious. What's wrong with the Ranger answer? He scored today But the one with Amoebi, I think he put in a joke there. Yeah amazingly I'm only reading about Ranger today. I mean I knew we'd signed the lad and saw the thread title a few times but didn't bother reading it as it looks like a piss take thread. Decided to read a bit more about him after reading this thread and I see that he's one dope gangsta!
  2. clearly foreign Not sure what your on about there like.

    Nile Ranger

Why can't NUFC TV show reserve games FFS? I'd love to have seen that goal!
  4. Is this serious? No offence, its just that the Ranger and Ameobi answers made me wonder.
  5. I fail to see how turning down the offer to be the figurehead of a consortium means they've turned down Newcastle United

    WHAM!!

If they gave the club away then yeah. But I'd think Gudmundsson would want at least his £85 million back. Then there's the £140 million debt and continuing losses of around £15 million a season and a possible £30 million payout for the Tevez afair. In that case, I doubt it. If NUFC are worth £260 (based on revenue and debt) then by the same kind of calculation West Ham are worth virtually nothing.
  7. Why is that an either or? Also have you considered that Kinnear is in contact with Ashley more then Keegan was because Ashley is now actually actively involved with NUFC on a day to day basis. You know now that something he considers worthy of his time is going on..
  8. Pretty much nonesense that like. No, for some people that's exactly how they'll react. They already hate him so whatever he does they will put a bad spin on it. We all do it, it's human nature (see also discussions about Taylor, Milner, Shepherd etc etc). Maybe a total idiot would react like that, but nobody with the slightest sense of logic would. If he sold the club cheap people would most likely claim he tried to get more but was forced to settle for less, a negative spin fair enough, I agree on that, just not the example.
  9. Pretty much nonesense that like. Wrong. Right
  10. Pretty much nonesense that like.
  11. Yellow card as well, pathetic, should have been a straight red.
  12. Had he followed the attacker he could have headed it out. But once he decided to stay where he was and let Given/Cacapa deal with him he had no chance of reaching the ball, the cross was too good.
  13. Won more trophies in his 1st season than we have about 17 appointments. I'm sure that will be great consilation when they're playing in the Championship
  14. What is it with you and "The Villa"?
  15. Modric and Jenas are right cheating divers!
  16. After recent results can you see us beating Everton away? Spurs are at home to Hull, so its likely to happen. Hull haven't lost an away game yet, 7 points from there three away games. Meanwhile Everton have lost all three home games this season. Not saying it can't happen, we can certainly lose today and the Spuds might just win, but going simply on recent results its in our favour.
  17. Is that fucking right Nostradarmous?
  18. I'm glad you added 'lol' to that comment - there is NO way we'll finish above them this season ; sad as it is to say, they are far more of a TEAM than NUFC, and it is teams that win matches, NOT individual talents. As things look now, NUFC will definitely be the bottom NE team in the Prem this season and its looking as if Everton are going to be the next English club taken over, while all the talking about NUFC is proving to be hot air. Potential buyers are either waiting until Ashley has to sell more cheaply(as the club struggles)or are having difficulty raising the money. Neither scenario is going to help the club finish in a decent position. Yeah as things look now 6 games into the season and with us in complete termoil. Things will change IMO and like I say I just have a belief at the moment that we'll finish above them. As for the takeover, it was never going to happen instantly, we'll have a new owner by next month.
  19. Not at all, as I've said many times its just a title, the role that person is actually responsible for is much more important and telling then the title itself. As long as this guy is supportive of Keegan and does not have responsibilities that should be his there'll be no problem. Its encouraging that Clifford himself is the one speaking to Keegan about coming back. Quite a different situation to Ashley bringing in Keegan and then bringing in Wise afterwards. I just hope that if they go down this route they make things very clear both to everyone in the club and outside it.
  20. Nah I just don't get the whole caring about Sunderland thing, think its a bit sad when I see people celebratiing a Sunderland loss with the same kind of passion as they would a Newcastle win. To me they're mostly insignificant unless they effect us directly. In other words when we play them its imperative to beat them and its also essential to finish above them, but when the results got nowt to do with us I don't really care that much. Though you do have a point about Keane, who is an utter tosser.
  21. Why? Explained it at least twice now
  22. Find it hard to understand how any Newcastle fan could be happy at the Mackems winning, especially given our situation at the minute. Easy, just don't really give a shit about Sunderland I'd only want them to lose if that didn't conflict with more important matters, like pissing off a friend. Though if it was the last day of the season and the win would put them above us then I'd think differently.
  23. I really don't give a fuck about them appart from when we play them, don't know any mackems.. I've got a Arsenal supporting friend though so Arsenal losing is always fun. I still wouldn't want Sunderland t0 finish above us, but I just have this unshakable belief that we'll end up above them whatever happens
