  1. Not at all, as I've said many times its just a title, the role that person is actually responsible for is much more important and telling then the title itself. As long as this guy is supportive of Keegan and does not have responsibilities that should be his there'll be no problem. Its encouraging that Clifford himself is the one speaking to Keegan about coming back. Quite a different situation to Ashley bringing in Keegan and then bringing in Wise afterwards. I just hope that if they go down this route they make things very clear both to everyone in the club and outside it.
  2. Nah I just don't get the whole caring about Sunderland thing, think its a bit sad when I see people celebratiing a Sunderland loss with the same kind of passion as they would a Newcastle win. To me they're mostly insignificant unless they effect us directly. In other words when we play them its imperative to beat them and its also essential to finish above them, but when the results got nowt to do with us I don't really care that much. Though you do have a point about Keane, who is an utter tosser.
  3. Why? Explained it at least twice now
  4. Find it hard to understand how any Newcastle fan could be happy at the Mackems winning, especially given our situation at the minute. Easy, just don't really give a shit about Sunderland I'd only want them to lose if that didn't conflict with more important matters, like pissing off a friend. Though if it was the last day of the season and the win would put them above us then I'd think differently.
  5. I really don't give a fuck about them appart from when we play them, don't know any mackems.. I've got a Arsenal supporting friend though so Arsenal losing is always fun. I still wouldn't want Sunderland t0 finish above us, but I just have this unshakable belief that we'll end up above them whatever happens
  6. Honestly would have preferred the mackems to win.
  7. I was just sitting there thinking "Arsenal will score here, 100% certain" lucky pricks ::
  8. Less fans IMO, they'd have upgraded capacity or moved to a new stadium by now if they had a huge waiting list of fans wanting season tickets.
  9. The likes of the Spuds already flees there fans with crazy ticket prices (that's how they manage similar revenues to us despite less fans), so there's no real potential there.
  10. People said that when Ashley brought him back tbh. So then it just comes down to wether the South Africans actually do what they say they'll do (if they take over), something I don't believe Ashley did.
  11. So now those two are out we're left with a few blokes with very little wealth combined compared to other club owners. Add to that some bloke who's already been fucked off by Harry Redknapp when at Southampton to run our academy and it all sounds great. When did this Rupert bloke deny interest?

    Jonas Gutierrez

Milner FFS Common, would I have liked to have him in the team for the last few games?, yes because our injuries have been terrible and he could have filled in. Is he one of the players we've missed most in the last several games?, no, not even close.
  13. I like that phrase as well, can't see where its been mentioned though so I'm not sure why you are?..
  14. More like kids who want there Mam (Newcastle) and Dad (Keegan) back together after that slag Mike Ashley split them up with his whoring ways
  15. Yeah, that was Ashley's mistake
  16. Hardly fair to call him the best of a bad bunch, rather a very good defender in a defence with a couple of weak links (namely Taylor and N'Zogbia when he played there). Only Reading & Derby let more goals in than us last season. I know Taylor is shite & Nzobia is hardly Kenny Sansom but they cant take the full wrap for the horrendous amount of goals against us. Didn't say that Beye has never made a mistake that caused a goal, every defender does at times. Just saying that he's a very good right back and if everyone in our defence was as good we wouldn't have conceded nearly as many goals. Obviously a defence has to work as a unit, there's plenty of bad defences with one or two good defenders in them, but you'll be hard pressed to find a good defence with one or two bad players. Of course to solve the rest of the problem with us conceding goals we'd have needed to get a midfield that doesn't put massive pressure on the defence every game and also go back in time and give a condome to Mrs Allardyce.
  17. He's strong, reads the game well and tackles very well too. Going forward is undoubedly his weak point but if a defenders going to have a weak point that's definitely the best one to have Also he's a very good professional, something that can't be said for the likes of Chimbonda.
  18. Fuckin hell mate. You'll get some bites there. Bit too obvious to get a bite I think

  20. Rather then a crysis it could be seen as an opportunity. A chance to replace what is in effect one top class striker (Viduka, Ameobi and Smith just don't count to me) with two very good none injury prone strikers on a fraction of the wages. Owen, Viduka, Smith and Ameobi combined account for about £14 million a year in wages, nearly 22% of the clubs total wage bill. Don't get me wrong I'd like to keep Owen, let Ameobi, Viduka and Smith go, and replace both of them with one very good striker. So we'd then have Owen, Martins, third top striker, Xisco, Carroll. But there is a very real chance Owen will decide to leave at the end of the season unless a new owner comes in now and sorts things out quickly.
  21. No problem he can come back, on a £10,000 match to match contract. If we give that useless lazy fucking tit even a 6 month contract on anything over £5000 I'm going to freak out!
  22. Everton have there own problems at the moment. Namely that they can't seem to win at home, they've won two and drawn one away but lost all three home games this season. We've got a couple of players back (hopefully Enrique is fit to play) and this is as good a chance as any to turn things arround, 2:1 win to the toon.
  23. If the likes of Ambani actually bought a club I'm sure he would spend big on it. Especially if he was buying it to raise his profile, after all if you buy a business to raise your profile you're going to want that business to be as high profile as possible, in other words at the top of the league and in Europe. As well as the fact that he's got idiotic amounts of money (£20 billion or something). Not convinced he will buy anyone though.
