  1. Again, many clubs if they thought he'd come. To actually guess a club is pointless, like I said he had offers after Man City, from who?, I don't know. But he's not likely to get many offers when he says he never wants to manage again (apart from a special job which is what I took from his "never say never" comment at the time).
  2. Can't remember anyone claiming that Keegan didn't know Wise was being appointed. He obviously agreed to the appointment but what Keegan was told about the structure of the club wasn't how it actually worked in practice. Its not as if it can simply have been confusion or blurred lines between duties either, the job the club continually claimed Wise had and the job they now admit he had from day one completely contradict each other, they're lying shits basically!
  3. Keegan had offers in the years before he came back here, he didn't want any other management job and I see no reason why he'd want one now..
  4. So KK would be telling Michael Owen that he was being sold then? Or would we all raise more cash to pay his £24m 3yr contract? Again revenue pays for the likes of wages, jesus have you all had fucking lobotomies today
  5. Once the fans bought the club for 250m how would they fund the manager's transfer war chest? Raise another £50m? Its called revenue, ever heard of it? TV money, gate receipts, prize money, merchandise ect. Plus new members could always buy in, which would be added up for transfers.
  6. Surely a case of 'if you throw enough shit some of it will stick'.. AFAIR they also said that Keegan was completely out of touch with Football and hiring him would get us relegated.
  7. The only thing Keegan has been doing over the last few days is making sure he isn't out of pocket by leaving. And your source is...? Louise Taylor. Fucking hell
  8. Like I said, unable to read or take part in a discussion, keep proving me right kid
  9. The only thing Keegan has been doing over the last few days is making sure he isn't out of pocket by leaving. He's managed to persuade the club to pay him all his wages despite resigning has he? Do me a favour, go and take a walk on the highway with your eye's closed. It's been well documented that he'd have to pay the club compensation if he walked out, you can bet he's been negotiating his way out of it. Anyway, I've seen your post about not supporting the club anymore so it was nice knowing you, people like yourself won't be missed. Oh yeah I'm sure they just said "yeah kev, no problem you can walk out and we'll cancel any payments".. not to mention this so called payment has been well documented in the press which makes it worth about as much as your opinion. I said I'd like to be able to stop supporting the club right now BTW, you'd know that if you could read or actually take part in a discussion without needing to twist words and arguments. Now please do as I suggested, the highway needs more road kill.. one less Spuds fan
  10. Have you been under a rock? They've been trying to find a way to see eye to eye over the last few days, obviously what Keegan wanted to come back was refused so he's walked. Nobody is forgetting that Keegan is the one making the decision to go, what does that have to do with anything?

  12. This might be it for me, I don't think I can bare to see another bloke I either don't like or am indifferent to leading the club, not after looking forward to the next few years under Keegan. As for Ashley, I gave him a chance, nobody here could claim I wasn't supportive of him. But he can go and fuck himself as far as I'm concerned. He's brought in a top manager and a great man, the perfect person to bring the good times back to the club and then tied his arms behind his back.. How anyone can think its a good idea to have someone other then the manager deciding on player purchases just amazes me, where the fuck is the logic in it? Nah, I just don't know where to go from here with Newcastle United, I've really never felt like this before about the club.. I honestly want to just say fuck it and stop caring at this point.. I doubt I can, but at the moment I feel like trying.
  13. Yep, I hate the fact that a club has spent as much as Man United to try and catch them. They've spent at least five or six times what Manure have spent!..

    Dennis Wise

It really hasn't. He's (Executive) Director of Football for us and reports to Ashley. If he isn't involved with player recruiment then in that role he is responsible for it so has failed to get in the players Keegan needed. Keegan said he wanted 4 players a week ago and got 2. How much more proof do you want. Didn't Ashley actually say weeks ago that Wise is responsible for the academy.. not player recruitment.
  15. Was that Matt Dickinson? Not sure who wrote it originally but it seems to have been copied all over the place.
  16. Don't take any notice of any of these reports. They'll twist any situation to absolutely asinine levels in order to make things look worse then they are. This "whole squad put up for sale" shit proves that.
  17. that would get Ashley 2 pints at The Emirates Have they dropped their prices then?

    Boycoutt?

We've got five central midfielders.. Barton Butt Gonzalez Geremi Guthrie
  19. Just want to say I'm not desperate for a takeover, even though it may sound like that Like I've said I'd much prefer the FA to stop all this nonsense. Limit clubs to only spend revenue on transfers and wages perhaps, just find some way to stop people from coming in an throwing idiotic amounts of money at clubs, or limit them to a certain level of legitimate debt. But I don't see that happening, and if things continue down this road then unfortunately I think we need to jump on the bandwagon sooner rather then later.
  20. The difference may come when Keegan wants a player, that the board/owner/recruitment team dont think is worth the money... as was rumoured about Warnock and Lennon on the last day (£5m bids in for each, clubs wanted £6m each, KK told no to the extra million(s) ). Exactly, so the only differences we can think of are positive ones..
  21. Actually no personally I didn't think he should be ecstatic because I thought he might flop But that's beside the point. Keegan might not be ecstatic with every signing but he'll be very happy overall if he's getting the best around and bringing success to the club. Also how is this picture you're painting of lack of control over the club any different to the current situation?, the only difference is the quality of players Keegan has no say over isn't it??
  22. Then you clearly don't understand Keegan or the situation at all. He wants things done his way and his decisions to be the ones that matter. He doesn't want other people making decisions above his head. Rubbish, he wants things done his way while the alternative is cheapish players most people have never heard of. But what he wants more then anything else is success for Newcastle United. He'd be absolutely delighted if a new owner came in and bought the very best players out there for him to play, even if he didn't hand pick them. If you think any different then you're the one who doesn't understand Keegan..
  23. I imagine he'd be fucking ecstatic about it if Smith and Barton were then replaced by Villa and Kaka Look its not about wanting a quick and easy fix, its about seeing the way the games going and making a decision to either get in on it at the ground level or drift even further behind. It was fine last year to say "Its only one team doing it, we still have some chance of competing", but now its two clubs, how many by next year? What chance do we have if next year or the year after we end up with Manure, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and three or four other Chelsea style clubs all ahead of us? Maybe some of them will even be clubs that were previously behind us.. then what?
