Eriksen and Diaby would be immense, like.

Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

A what, now? -
They surely can’t be changing it this late I know a few people who’ve booked the morning off…
-
I know I fell out of touch with football for a couple of years, but do centre-backs need to be “fast” these days? Is it still not just seen as a massive asset when they are, i.e. Campbell and Ferdinand?
-
This is where I’m at, too. As far as we know there’s not even another offer for him, let alone one anywhere near our amount.
-
They could be doing 1,000 to those with a purchase history then a ballot after that for another 5,000, or similar? It’s probably more feasible that it’s for individual tickets next season, though, of which there’ll surely be a ridiculous number? 30-35,000 season ticket holders now, aye? Plus another 1,000 next week, minus ~3,000 for the away fans. That’s between 13,000 and 18,000 open seats per game.

That video is the exception, rather than the rule. One goal and zero assists in the equivalent of 19.5 games last season. Fraser is a better option on the right, for me, but it’s clear we need a signing there. I’d also sell Miggy ahead of Murphy.
-
Didn't realise it cost hundreds of billions, mind.
-
Probably going to be two days of fuck all happening in here, so who do people think are the strongest links / most likely signings we'll make after Botman is official? We don't talk about Hugo. I'm struggling to pinpoint who we'll be going after next.
-
One of the most obvious transfers of the summer, that, he'll do very well there.
-
Sorted next week, I reckon. All the leverage is with us, as with the Botman deal.

General NUFC stuff: club crest to be changed (Official)
Rich replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
Buzzing my tits off with all things NUFC at the minute, mind. Great times. -
It wasn’t. Downie called the interest first, by a mile.
-
He didn’t, Downie broke it.
-
His position hasn’t changed that much, surely? He’s still in direct competition with Schär for the right-sided place, but now won’t automatically slot in if the occupant of the left-sided place is out. I’d be surprised to see him go this summer, but wouldn’t be upset by it.
-
Still think both deals get done, like, there’s nobody else in for Ekitike at that price.
-
Two of these things are not like the others.
-
“Newcastle set for January budget of £50m - despite another £140m allowed by FFP” Spent £92M, could’ve been a lot more had other deals come off. “Newcastle rule out summer spending spree with transfer budget likely to be less than £90m” On the cusp of reaching £57M before July, with another £26M supposedly on the table for Ekitike as well. Never change, Lukey boy.
-
Our beautiful budget. All gone.
-
We would not still be in for him if he wasn't interested in joining.

Our form in the second half of last season says very differently, mind.
