Is this a serious post? -
I thought it was just my eyes, but recently got contacts and it makes no difference.
-
When it comes to transfer rumours, not really.

Tom Baxter does it again. -
Throwing The Mag in there as though that improves things.

Which long-standing bastion of truth have you read this one in, then?

https://theathletic.com/2971089/2021/12/08/joelinton-liberated-brazilian-perfectly-suited-eddie-howe-style-newcastle/?source=user_shared_article ‘Machine’ Joelinton liberated as Brazilian is perfectly suited to Howe’s style I’m out of guest passes, unfortunately, but this was a canny read. Doesn’t seem like this upturn is going to be a flash in the pan.

Becoming quite standard for exec-type roles these days, aye. Doesn’t usually make the press as some sort of massive story, obviously.
-
Good question and handily brings it into yet another one.

Dunno about locking stuff, mind. There's a Shearer thread, people would probably be happy to have stuff transplanted over into there and continue the chat. Decent compromise?
-
Icon or legend? Arrogant or canny? For all of your Big Al needs, it's the Alan Shearer thread.
-
What the fuck am I reading in here, man? All the good stuff happening lately and we've got people worrying about what PIF and Co. will replace the SD signs with and questioning Shearer's credentials as a club legend. People just hate being happy, I'm sure of it.
-
I'd be arrogant as fuck if I was the greatest striker in Premier League history and a multi-millionaire, like.
-
Tarkowski's very much not left-footed.
-
Aye, for me anyway. I'd prefer it not to be there, of course, but I'm not naive enough to think that they won't want their own branding in place and with the antics the rest of the PL are up to they'll possibly need to justify any sponsorship deals that are cut. If that's the price to pay for SJP in general getting a massive upgrade and the team competing again, rather than both being left to rot, is it not worth the trade? We literally got no benefit from it when it was SD.
-
Most just want us to be competitive and have a go, surely? "Don't demand a team that wins," etc.? Was anyone really expecting the Saudis to be benevolent overloads?
-
This. I'd say this was always the point.
-
Joelinton or Almiron on the right?
-
Fraser knackered again?
